What's up with Monty/Roswell action back to back? Are you guys planning events to be this way? This has happened on at least three occasions that I can remember, maybe more. I'd like to play both, but it's a little trek between the two courses as well as a long drive to either course from my house. If you're doing this on purpose, please stop. If it's by accident, please try to coordinate better.

Yo soy grease--

This time it was a matter of which weekend would be the least conflict because the tournament had to be in February for personal reasons/my availability. The last tournament when it happened wasn't mine, but was at the course. That was dollar's discorama/baka singles action. The one before that was a Monty Dubs, and I think (Lofstrand?) chose to put it the Sunday after Monty Dubs.

I talked to Imran about it before I posted to make sure no animosity/surprises etc. It came to the 16th to not interfere with closer tournaments that would likely have a lot of the same players---namely perkerson.

We'll be playing in the woods, all holes. Probably going to play 18, and all of them long, from the long tees. That means that the par will be either 55 or 56.

COMING TO THE MONTY? Please bring your aluminum to the tournament saturday, or any other time you come to the course. I collect it for the course fund, and so far people are helping out pretty well. When you don't have a club, gotta get up some $$ by whatever means possible. Legal.

BTW, I'd like to thank the honorable Dr. Bob for carrying me and not getting pissed. Plus, it was fun as always to play with the ramp necks on the first round and a pleasure to play with Andy and Brandon on the 2nd round. Even though it was cold as a witches crotch, the Monty was fun as always.
