Requests for 2013 PDGA Sanctioned events only!!!

As State Coordinator, I would like to start getting feedback as to which dates people would like to use for SANCTIONED EVENTS in 2013.

As always Majors, NT's and A-tiers dates are set first by the PDGA and then the rest of the schedule fills in.

I will also try to coordinate again with South Carolina, NC and TN to try to not overlap where possible.

The Calendar will be updated HERE ONLY in this post, so please check it first before requesting dates.

IF you want your tournament listed on the ADGO website front page, create a topic for your tournament in the Disc Golf Tournaments forum so there is something to link to! (added by jonp)

My dates are starting to trickle out, January 26th for the IDGC Ice Bowl C Tier, as far as i know this will be the only Augusta Ice Bowl this year.

June 22nd for the IDGC Ironman (most daylight week of the year) this will be a C tier as well.

I will be taking the old zipline open weekend or the next one in March for the Easter Seals tournament as well still tryign to nail that one down.

All aside the Toys for Tots will be sanctioned as c-tier events, courses will be Alexander Park, Lenora Park and hopefully Little Mulberry, which where is not finalized yet.

I'd like to request APril 20th for a Non-santioned fundraiser tournament at Either Oregon or Sequoyah (to be determined) called The Kula Project Throw & Grow.

more info to come really soon, But the Kula Project is an awesome non-profit based in Woodstock, GA that teaches people, farmers, and communities in developing countries and areas with little water or poor soil alternative, sustainable methods of growing food.

they happen to love disc golf too.

I can't wait to make it happen and see ya'll out there.

Directors Cup is a PDGA TD /Mover and Shaker invite only Event at the IDGC - they were gonna do one last year and it fell through. Even if both of you are "B-Tiers" milage wise if would still be OK - don't know any of the details or who exactly is getting invited - you could probably find out more from Jason at the PDGA.


Discstalkers date is part of a series of 6 Events he's running (see post 5 before yours on JAN 13th from him) - you would need to find out from him if the date is set in stone or not.

Let me know how you wish to proceed and I'll get it listed if everyone is ok with it.

Done - It is same day as team Event (I assume in Augusta area - and being invited teams not an issue for conflicts) so I listed it.

I don't know if you are aware, but it is also Labor Day weekend - and week before Lake Russell........don't know if that will hurt your numbers with Holiday weeekend and then party week/weekend following - just a heads up.

The PDGA Mileage restrictions for C-tiers are only 25 miles so you are good there.. Please make sure to fill out the sanctioning agreement with the PDGA to get it listed on the PDGA Calendar.
