Revitalize the club!

Alright guys it is time to get the FCDGC back up and running and we need record numbers and active participants. Do me a favor and let me know who is interested in joining the local club and pass the word to your friends who play CP. You can also join the Facebook page Central Park (GA) Disc Golfers. http://www.facebook.com/groups/172775191548/. I will speak with Dave about the club and also Nathan Skinner to see if he can design a disc we can use for fundraisers.

We need members, we need a strong and active board and we need an overall acceptance to do more work and be more active. Central Park is too nice of a course to let be neglected. I am fully willing to do as much as I can from Suwanee to assist.

There is simply potential to speak to the Parks and Rec about a new course in FoCo. With that said, we need a legitimate club with members and a board. I am proposing a club entry fee of $10 per person and $20 per family per year.

Details and benefits of the club are still being worked out. Feel free to give me suggestions and ideas! I hope to get the club going within the next few weeks with a board and members going forward!!

Well for starters I would suggest that your membership fee $15 and you could run it through the ADGO as well. Once you meet the qualifications to become an ADGO affiliate club your members can sign up for both organizations will all the money going back to your club. Your members will also be allowed to take advantage of people members of a PDGA affiliate club by being ADGO members as well.

Memberships have begun to pour in and myself and Ryan Harris are meeting with Parks and Rec tomorrow to discuss disc golf in its current and future state in FoCo!

I also opened the line of communication with Barry and Ritger to be ADGO affiliated as well in the near future.
