Feel free to invite me to Friendface; I've never used the invite button. I'm a Luddite when it comes to social networks...
I'm still waiting fro the combination of twitter, youtube and Facebook which they will call YouTwitFace,

I can identify at least four Juniors who signed up for Rec whose parent is scheduled to play the opposite course. Since we're not switching parks in between rounds, I'm missing how the rideshare offer would apply here. Getting the kids to their park and then having to drive over to the other park before the first round is where problems may arise.
Any thoughts from the other parents who may have to deal with this?
Thanks,
Alan

You could leave a packed lunch at Tourney Central if you like.
I could also have sandwiches, chips and hot dogs on Saturday and order Pizza on Sunday. I'm happy to provide that at my expense for any "stranded" junior Rec player.

I signed up for the PDGA and got my PDGA# 55872. Is this tourney going to count for a raiting since I signed up before getting my pdga number?
da4nex wrote:Hey, Gerrit --
Have you posted the layouts that the various divisions will playing? If I missed it in this topic or the GCO site, let me know and I'll go find it.
Thanks,
Alan
12StonesScott wrote:How much grief will it cause you if I wanted to move to a different division? I'm looking at either up to Advanced or down to Rec, as either would resolve any transportation issues for me and Ari. At this point, I'm thinking Advanced, partly because I'd rather not be in the same div as him, and partly because with the way I'm playing lately, I'd be less embarrassed by finishing DFL in Adv than out of the cash in Rec. If there's a date by which a definitive decision would make your life easier, let me know and I'll try to make up my mind.

Just a heads up, there is a yellow jacket nest on 12 about 30 feet short and 30 feet left of pin. They're pretty active, son already got stung.
Thanks!

Corndawg13 wrote:Jamie,
I have been there and asked that. The PDGA releases player ratings about every month or month and a half. The next one will be on the 13th of this month, but the GCO happened too late to enter in ratings. Your first official PDGA rating will be the next one that comes out after tomorrow if you are a PDGA member. However, you can pretty much average your four rounds ratings from the GCO and get your rating. I know they drop the worst round ratings in the average but I'm not sure how many rounds you need before they begin to drop the lowest rated rounds.

I left my orange w/ black circles USDGC boss in one of the bushes behind 12 (throwing on 18 round 3) and it wasn't there round 4. Anybody have it?
