Because there are several places with no water or water that is less than the width of disc depending on where the debris is the creek is causing blockage - it's way too random whether 2 crappy shots in the same area will be in or out - so with it being casual water you can get your foot wet, or play on the FIRST LEGAL stance available on the line of play to the basket anywhere up to 5 meters per the PDGA rules.
Of course if that line of play would take you to the other side of the creek into another fairway on the holes that border 2 fairways, it would put you OB and you could then take the penalty stroke, take a meter relief from the OB line on the other fairway and stand in the water to throw your next shot since the water is casual.![]()
