Hole 1 280 / 192 ft Par 3
Both Pools tee to a basket ahead and slightly to the right.
To next tee both pools walk straight ahead and to the left.

Hole 2 238 / 177 ft Par 3
Both Pools tee to a basket straight ahead in the trees.
To next tee, Pool 1 turns back and towards the right, Pool 2 turns right 70 feet

Hole 3 555 / 437 ft Par 4
Both Pools tee to a basket ahead on the slope. Anywhere inside the pavilion area surrounded by concrete is OB. Road and beyond on the right is OB. Concrete / grass edge closer to basket area is the OB line. Discs leaning on the curb are OB.
To next tee, both Pools turn left to #4 tees

Both pools tee to a basket uphill in the trees.
To next tee Pool 1 turns left to #5 tee, and Pool 2 walks straight ahead behind stump/ bushes to # 5 tee.

Inside fenced area is O.B. Concrete/Grass line and Wood/Rock line on right side of the fairway and beyond basket are O.B.

There will be no changes to the GSSS course at Meeks from the past 4 years -- As much as I like the ideas (I'm the one who gave them to Mashburn) - I will leave the last year at Meeks for the GSSS the same as the first - Old School Meeks - and will let Mashburn have the course set as he wishes for HIS Events - thereby giving them a well deserved distinction and uniqueness for the distinct and unique Madness event he runs.

The only thing I MIGHT (stressing the word MIGHT) change up is to use the top of the hill for 4's pads to avoid the gridlock with 3 since I'm using the original long #3 pad, but that will be a FRIDAY afternoon when I get to the course decision -so if changed it will be announced at the players meeting.

The course at Meeks withstood the onslaught of the Central Park Breakfast Club this past weekend. The course record is still intact and a good time was had by all in attendance. The course is looking pretty good and would be excellent if they are able to mow prior to the GSSS event -- if not, forget the rollers and skip shots. Watch out for the gopher on the hill near #4 long tee pad -- Glen "Big Easy" Bergeron had a close encounter.

Several dropouts and replacements later and we are ready for the morning.

Course has signs up, teepads raked, branches trimmed where needed, and the grass was mowed by the county so the place is looking better than it has since it opened.

Just for all the looky loos information - I do NOT update the players list after the Event closes and I print the cards for the board - so the number of players you see listed means NOTHING in correlation to the actual players in the Event, as I'm changing the spreadsheet daily with dropouts, changes and other stuff - which does not get posted to the PDGA website.
When I have open spots, I always post here as I have for 5 years, so if I don't post here, it means there are NO open spots at that time - so calling me or messaging me saying "hey there are only 68 people online, so let me in" is going to get you nothing.

Going forward for the last 2 Events - if you aren't in when it closes and you suddenly decide you want to play after it has been on sale for 7 weeks - don't be surprised when I don't care to hear why you waited and just "all of a sudden you went to signup and saw it was closed so please let me in" - because you will hear the sound of sorry, no spots are available, but thanks for caring enough to check in and see how I was feeling.

Keith -- outstanding job once again. Thanks to you, Dawn, Lorelei, Matthew, Wes, Brett, all of the sponsors and everyone else who helped make this one of the best tournament experiences I've had. Special shoutout to my Rec division cardmates -- Marcus, Chuck, Bill, Charles, Gabe, and Zane -- two rounds with guys were great to play with, with no drama or kvetching, and who kept things moving along so well we were the first group in first round and the second group in second round. First tournament in a couple of years where I played fairly consistenly across both rounds, and I think having two great groups helped make that happen.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again at Wills.

Yep - Dammes tore up his knee just so he could drop out 12 hours before the Event. Blake Zimmerman & Steve Adams didn't call (he signed up for all 6 by the way), 2 of the 4 ladies dropped day of according to their significant others when they checked in.

Nobody forces anyone to play the Events I run, so I try to put on the best show possible and throw out way more cash and prizes than "B"-Tier standards, even though I'm running C-Tier Events to help keep the players happy.

I appreciate your sponsorship and support over the years - and don't count on anyone of these whiners to EVER try and run Events, because they wouldn't know the first thing to do to make the players happy and to put on a good show while putting up with all the crap that goes along with ther behind the scenes stuff as well as the day of stuff.

I thought I had torn my ACL on my knee, I was in some major pain, but really wanted to play Meeks. On Friday morning when I got up and could not even bend my knee, I decided there was no way I could make it even one hole so I had to withdraw.

Since you are so concerned I will let you know I should be back to normal in about 2 weeks. After having two syringes worth of fluid drained from my left knee and a cortisone shot I feel alot better... So thanks Woody!! I am glad you care.

I hope everyone sees the content of your character which is on full display with all of these things you say and hope they all understand the level of insanity you are operating at. You insinuate that I am saying things behind your back directly about you and then you go on the internet like a coward and say things about me. You took something that was no big deal and now you are making it very personal. I do hope people see the Events and how they are consistently run from year to year where players know what to expect and how the payouts will be BEFORE they ever show up at MY Events -That is something that is lacking in alot of Events here and around the country where you just enter and "hope for the best" in terms of how it is run and how the payouts will be.

At any Event I run - you know the times will be adhered to, the courses will be groomed and ready, check-in will go smooth, there will be no day of signups, added cash will be at each Event, ALL AMS will get players packages and at some Events ALL players get players packages, you NEVER have to buy in for CTP's, Ace fund is $1 per round played, awards ceremonies will be as short as possible (usually around 45 minutes but always under an hour) etc, etc, etc.

I sincerely hope that anyone who wants to play my Events plays them, and to anyone who worries that they have to like me to enjoy playing a Disc Golf Event that I run - I guess you'll just miss out on a good Disc Golf Event because of some silly notion that you have to like me to have a good time.

It is still telling as to the kind of person you are that you would come on here and start bad mouthing me BEFORE you even talk to me about an issue. Yes - If you pay money to play in my Events and then curse around my daughter, while I'm trying to keep things moving (when you should have been happy I was doing so to help get people home faster) I'm gonna say something - Everyone be forewarned.

I've given McCoy crap, Dollar crap, and several other people crap publically, and while we all still disagree on issues we can all still talk and be freinds because, even if we don't LIKE the others positions - there is respect from ME towards those guys because I consider them freinds - and whether they return the respect or like me doesn't bother me one way or the other because we can all still be civil with each other.

You keep changing your tune with every post and just amke it more and more about how you didn't admit to it, to saying yes you said it but who cares, to lets say Keith is this, that, and the other - all becuase I asked you guys to stop throwing until we were done with the ace fund throw off so I could get the awards ceremony started and move things along -you could have just as easily said OK, or you could have moved to hole 5 and thrown from there - but no - you had to say that I already had your money so you could do what the F you wanted.... What does me already having your money mean anyways? I already had everyones money and was giving it ALL back plus 500 dollars more than everyones money to over half the field (including you - which you declined) -so what EXACTLY was your point in that statement?

I can understand your statement if I said - stop F'ing throwing and get the F off the tee pad - but since I asked you all to "PLEASE stop throwing so we could finish the CTP contest and Ace fund throwoff" - there was no reason for your response in that manner at all - or to then deny it at first and say I was just making things up.

As I said before, I'm fine with your stance on my Events and I'm fine with your feelings towards me, because somehow I'll try to find a way to keep running Events even though it displeases you that I do.

I appreciate the sentiment Kade, but it's more about financial planning than anything else. Some people can lay out 6 months of entry fees in advance and not feel the pinch, others can't.
