Saturday Night Players Party at the Big House/Allman Brothers Band Museum featuring Thomas Wynn and the Believers The Dirty Doves will be opening up the show starting at 7 PM.

Players party is free for all players and volunteers. Bring bag/lawn chairs and chill out "back where it all began" at the home of Southern Rock Legends. Music will end at 10:30 so we will have plenty of time to get a good nights sleep before Sunday tee off. There will be a cash bar and food for sell.

You asked for non-sanctioned in that thread and are saying B-tier here - which direction do you really want to go? - if sanctioned - I would recommend getting the date approved by me (no problem as of now as date is available) and sanctioning agreement in asap as to not lose the date (right now there is nothing sanctioned, but the IDGC Ironman unsanctioned is the same day.)

The Dirty Doves will be opening the evening for us and you might want to keep a look out for Very Special Guest Robert Lee Coleman of Percy Sledge and James Brown fame. Claystone flows easily...Players meetings at both courses. We have an abundance of Officials and volunteers. There are also showers up above Hole 14 if anyone would like to freshen up before the players party. You should have plenty of time to hit hotel rooms, camp grounds, buddy's shower between the Rec, INt. and Ladies rounds and the players party starting at 7PM.

As for the Pro's and Advanced men, who will tee off at 3PM on one of the shortest courses in GA, half of em don't sweat and none of em stink anyhow!

Anybody rolling into town Friday and looking for some music definitely should consider Mellow Mushroom. Packway Handle Band from Athens, Ga is playing. Cost of admission is a smile!

If downtown is your scene then hit Cherry Street... plenty of action at the Hummingbird Stage and Taproom. Conner Christian is playing, not my groove but lots of ladies love them.

If you want to watch the game then go to CJ's Sports Bar. The girls might not be that pretty but they ain't hard to catch.

Passes for the Players Party at the Big House Saturday night music begins at 7PM I'd suggest making sure your there by 8PM. You will be off the course by 6PM easy Saturday night.

Registration will begin at both courses at 7:30AM. It will end at 8:30AM. We will have a brief players meeting at 9AM and you will be walking to your Starting holes by 9:15AM. The rounds will start at 9:30AM. Pros & Advanced (Masters) Men: Upon completion of your round you will turn in your score cards at the Clubhouse and proceed to Claystone Park. Directions will be given to you. There will be a players meeting at 2:30 at Claystone. Second round will start no later than 3:00. Advanced Women, Int Men & Rec: Your second round will begin 1 HOUR AFTER THE 1ST ROUND at Claystone.

Saturday you will need to tell the folks at the Gate at Claystone you are here to play in the tournament. Your park fee is included in the entry fee for the tournament. Don't let em charge you $3 unless you just want to pay an extra $3. I won't be giving you $3 from the funds!!! Sorry but nope!





FYI -- Han Solo/Indiana Jones is in town filming 42 the Jackie Robinson story so you may want to cruise down 2nd Street if you get a chance and see how they turned our little Southern town into Brooklyn.

Those player ratings look suspect. Since MA2, MA3, FA1 & FA2 played Claystone the first and second rounds, they should have only received propagated ratings for the second round if they played the same layout as the rest of the field. The first round should have no unofficial ratings generated.

In the ratings tab on the tournament admin site, they need to change the courses for the different divisions.

I checked the ratings tab. The Int/Rec/Rec Woman/Adv Women played "Claystone" round 1. and "Claystone 2" round 2. The Open/Adv/Adv Masters Pool played "Claystone 3" round 2. It's all divided correctly. Shoot me a PM or an email Jason.

All Results are currently Unofficial and I'm pretty sure we did things correctly seeing as we had a PDGA board member help. Thanks for the patience the Offical results will be up in the next day or two. (New job has to take my focus!!!)

Official results will take a few weeks actually. Once the TD report is submitted the official results won't be viewable until the next player's rating update. The submission deadline for results to be included in the July 3rd update is today. This is why I want to make sure things are right for everyone that played.

I doubled check the results uploaded to the site and everything is entered in correctly. Somehow ratings are being generated for the lower divisions for the first round when their aren't enough propagators for that to be happening. Very odd. I am confident that things will be fixed once they become official. I suspect the lower divisions ratings to change a little bit from the unofficial ratings currently displayed. Upper divisions should stay pretty close to where they are now.
