Rollaway protection would just be cheating on the hole.

millayday wrote:does anyone know who went diving for discs a month or so ago? I know ATL Scott went in back in february, but I heard rumors that someone else actually went in with dive equipment and pulled a bunch of discs out more recently. I've heard this rumor from several people and I just want to know if anyone has any info. Because unlike Scott, there were no posts about found discs from whoever went out this time, and that is kinda dick. Especially since I know that I have about 8 discs right thereand they would have to have grabbed at least 1 or 2 off the bottom. I'd happily throw a few bucks retrieval fee for their safe return. So if someone knows which greedy bastard went diving and decided to horde all the discs for themselves, let me know so we can feed them to the beavers.
I know Stan. I don't think he gets on the board very much. i will PM you his phone number.Patrick Erwin wrote:Found a Gold Metal Innova Mini Driver on #7 fairway today.

Don't know what any of that means, I've only played 4 rounds (just got into the sport)
Let me know if it's yours. White Oak is really close to me.

Okay, it's rastafarian for starts. Will keep an eye out for your disc.
BTW, does anyone know the name of the guy that was selling used discs at Pete's heart charity
event at White Oak a few months back? I bought a disc from him that I verified was lost in the
lake at White Oak. So, basically, that was the guy that's been getting the discs out of the lake
and not returning them. He said he bought the discs off ebay from a guy in Alabama. He sold
me a used 11X Teebird for $8. There's no way he could buy that disc off ebay and be able to
sell it to me at that price. Besides,I know the person who's disc it was and confirmed from him
that it was lost in the lake. If you know the guy selling the used stuff, he's a crook.

That guy may be telling the truth. I was playing White Oak in September and there were two guys swimming in the lake and they pulled up about 30 discs a piece. They mentioned they were from Alabama and said they call the people who have numbers on discs but ebay the discs without names and numbers. They swam to the other side of the lake near 16 and got a disc for me that I lost the day before. They were pretty good guys, or so it seemed.
Some of the discs he was selling had the names sharpied over. Plus, if you didn't understand the part about the Teebird I bought, used on Ebay would be
around $20. Deduce dear Watson.

I don't believe there is such a thing as a 180g Aviar.

If you want to complain about the overgrowth, then step up and bring a trimmer. just be careful that you avoid cutting into an orange wraith that somebody lost recently.
