lost 7/23 to 7/25 sometime pm on hole ?:

grey, old-school (early 90's), 175+/- gram, flat top DX stingray.

losing discs is a specialty when i throw multiple shots on one hole and do not do a full inventory count prior to proceding to the next hole.

this disc is ghost grey and has a gold stamp swimming stingray on the top.
the bottom shows predominant "rust stain/leaf stain" from weathering from being lost for almost a year at CP. this disc was also lost at toccoa this year at the stephens county pro-am and returned to me at hotlanta last weekend. i know it seems like a lot to ask, but i'm putting out an All Points Bulletin (APB) to ERPers to keep their collective eyes open for this disc as it may be in the possession of a barney or newby who doesn't realize the importance of karma in returning another player's disc when found.

the disc is well marked with my "ET" on the top and my "ET", pdga #4977 and cell phone #770-329-6599 on the bottom. a generous reward is offered for it's return. (new DX or pro disc of your choice).

The true founding father's are Me and Gomez. Grease wanted to go to the disc auction. DD had to go to the country club with the old lady. Phil was the King of Jack and the first to fetch. All of this took place in Augusta.

The fall and elbow scrape happened in Huntsville. We were playing a modified team version of fetch with Funky B's zephyr. The fall down was the single greatest slow-mo live action replay that I've ever seen. I'm glad Grease survived but the form was a classic.

As I remember it, I was floating gracefully, almost swan-like, to catch the Zephyr. After 2 360's and obtaining 3 feet of air, my Croc slid off causing me to trip as I landed. I took the fall with an awesome skateboarder roll and only scraped my hip and elbow. I found a disc but I don't remember the color. I do remember it was not opaque and it had 2 sets of initials on it (or maybe it was just 2 sets of 2 letters but I don't remember what they were). I think it was a mid-range disc.

Anyway, my buddy brought it home with him. I'll have him bring it to work so I can see if it's yours. I just found this web site yesterday otherwise I would have posted earlier.

As I mentioned earlier, I found a disc at ERP on Sunday, May 4th. It's bright orange (clear) and has 2 sets of initials on it written with a sharpie. Please get in touch with me if you think this is yours.

I approached every group I saw while I was out there and no one claimed it. I found it on one of the last holes (possibly the 18th or 17th).

Sorry the more I think about that hole the more I negative thoughts I have about it. I'd rather have a short boring hole (think the small field next to two) or another short technical hole (think something between hole 2 and 3 that would use the walk between as part fairway) than play that hole again. Didn't someone go to the hospital after jumping off the trailers to retrieve his disc? (Now granted it might not have been the smartest thing to do, but I definetly think it was an avoidable accident.)

I love ERP, and I love both the front and back nine, but the trailer hole is one of the worst holes that I know of in disc golf. Not only does it eat discs, but it also is a safety hazard that should be removed from the course of play.

Yes Oregon Park has a drop box, but it's wooden, and there have been incidents where the local kids broke into it and stole all of the lost discs. A steel drop box might be a bit harder to break into.

Chattanooga has a steel one and I haven't heard of any vandalism. The Barney Locals at ERP are good at stealing discs so I don't think it would matter what you used including a safe with a moat and pit bulls guarding it. They wouldn't put them in the box anyway.

If you found it between Monday afternoon and now, the Shark could belong to one of the kids from the DG camp that wrapped up today -- at least 5 of them got DX 150g Sharks as the mid in their player packs. Wouldn't be at all surprising if one of them walked off without theirs at some point. Unfortunately, I don't have any contact info other than their phone numbers, and I'm not inclined to call all eight numbers on chance it might be one of them. Doggone it!!! I'm missing my prized JK Pro 4x Champ Valkyrie (orange).

Trying to rethink in my scattered brain, I last drove it on either hole 16 or hole 3. It would be within 100-150 feet of pin in woods or kudzu (16 and 3 respectively) I'm predicting, since I had a few short-ass drives on those holes.

So PLEASE, PLEASE, to all you folks playing doubles tonight, if you come across it, PLEASE call me asap. Name and number is on back. This disc means a lot to me.

My wife lost a pink tie dyed roadrunner in the thick stuff about halfway down the fairway on number 12. It's on the left side between 12's fairway and 14's tee pads. Probably about even with the beginning of the "pond" as you're walk towards the basket. We looked and looked but just couldn't get our eyes on it. It was a gift so she would really like to get it back if someone runs across it. I have some discs I would be willing to part with for your trouble if you find it.

Was playing a round this evening with a buddy and he lost a disc on Hole 2. Clear/Whitish Innova Coyote (Champion X-Out). Launched from tee and took a hard turnover flight to the right towards the little nasty area at the bottom of hill near sidewalk for joggers. Looked for a while to no avail. Name Chai Thompson and Number on inside rim.

While looking I found a Pink Latitude 64 River with the handle Splash_4 and number inside rim. Figured it belonged to someone on here. (I think i remember seeing that name on here.) Would have called and waited but it was already dusk and I had to get my buddy back to his car. If I don't receive feedback here I will call number tomorrow during the day.

Well, I agree. but for some reason we couldn't find it. It was also getting later in the evening so it was getting harder to see. Where it hit it looked like it could've rolled out into the small field area or into the crazy shule at the bottom right in the valley of the hole. I don't know how it is for you (We played blues that day) but once a disc heads over towards all that nastiness, its pretty hard to see the whole flight/roll to where it could have landed. Searched all the area but didn't see it. Maybe one of the people walking the path at the time picked it up. Who knows.
