I just bought a "starter set" about a week ago, and I've already lost a disc. I was playing near sunset, trying to get a few holes in on a course where I'd never played, just to get a first impression of the place. Not the smartest thing I've ever done.

In any event, it's a red Innova "Shark," and it's somewhere in the woods on hole #4, either in or near the creek. It might be buried under roots and creek slime, never to be seen again, or it might be hidden in plain sight. There just wasn't much light left under the canopy of trees to mount a thorough search. The path of my throw, a tee shot, was right up the creek bed, very low as it entered the woods. If anyone discovers it, my email and phone number are on it. Thanks in advance.

The locals have been throwing discs in the pond with hopes of stacking them up to form a walkway out to the middle. It's a slow process, but it's getting there.

Haha, i know what you are talking about. Dano used to be a Redan regular. I remember playing with him and he threw his drive behind him TWICE in a round. First after a short break on 7, then, again on 11! He said it was vertigo, i think it was "after a short break on 7".

He's a fun dude though!

lost in the corner of the lake near the basket of hole 3: beat ching roc (ace disc). any ideas on how to get this one out? the water is COLD and STINKY. I think its about 20ish feet from the edge.

waded around today and dug with my toes for about 20 mins with the parks permission (and with them watching). No luck.

I had some luck with the Golden Retriever(not the dog) out there until I threw the
Golden Retriever into the middle of the pond. If you get a Golden Retriever and use it
there and somehow retrieve a Golden Retriever, it's mine. Make sure that you hold onto
the rope when you throw it.

Hey guys. Well, like an idiot I decided I had to play a round in the unnatural and horror movie-ish fog tonight and ended up losing my new Champion Boss. It's purple with very feminine metallic sparkly silver lettering. I lost it on hole 14, presumably to the right of the fairway. It hit a tree pretty close to the tee and we didn't see it ricochet off afterwords. There is no name on it as I picked it up from the mailbox on the way to the park. If found, please call 770-865-1132, my name is Mason and I'm already missing Attila, I named it after the Hun. Thanks guys.

Luckily someone found it after round one and returned it.

Lost: Redish-Pink Discraft Nuke ESP 171 Grams
Lost on hole 8 In the tall bushes running along side road. Lefty grip-lock and faded back right into one of the bushes about half-way down towards the pin. Searched for quite a while to no avail. Reward to the person who finds it.

Yellow Innova DX Archangel (Pretty banged) No name or number.
Blue Innova Star Valkyrie (Stamp worn) Letter G on bottom with number. Will Call.

Lost a fly dye Avenger SS on 16 today. I got too much air under it and it spiked down into the last 1/3 of the nastiness to the left of the dirt piles. I looked for about 30 minutes and couldn't find it. It's my favorite disc, I would love to get it back. Name and number are on it.

Lost my favorite disc on Hole 15. I hit the big tree on the right side of the main window and it kicked left into the Kudzo. I looked for it for about an hour and never found it. That stuff is crazy thick. The disc is a tie-die Star Max. My name and # are on it.

I believe that is my buddy Alex Kirkpatrick. He is standing here with me. Not a poster on this forum. Its a neon yellow Innova Star Wraith Ken Climo 12x Signature disc. It has his number on it but he never recieved a call. was lost on hole 13. in the trees to the left somewhere. He would gladly shake their stubby hands.

I lost 2 Champion Dye Beasts in the pond on Hole #14 (Old Hole #3) about 25 feet from the bank.

When does the park drain that pond to scrape out the duck poop every year? I'd really like to get those discs back. I'm contemplating a septic snorkeling trip to retrieve whatever discs I find. Both of my discs have my name and phone number on them.

Get a golden retriever( not a dog ). They are great for retrieving discs and work even better if you can see them. I've had some blind luck with mine. Just make sure you hold onto the rope! :lol:

First, it's worth mentioning that I'm a n00b. Second, I'm right-handed and the basket is to the right in the pocket, I threw both Beasts RHFH. In the past, they would fly anhyzer towards the pond until just before I released into my shorts then fade back beautifully and drop at the foot of the basket in putting range for a bird. But twice they failed to come back until over the pond and then "SPLASH! QUACK! QUACK!" I have a Stingray and that turns right for me but it turns way before the basket on that hole. At any rate, I now throw my mid-range RHBH into the trees on that hole and settle for par.

I was out for Dubs last month. Had a great time. I was paired with Merritt and grouped with Patrick and another guy whose name escapes me. I'll be out there again this month. See you there! Maybe you can give me some pointers on hole 14...
