A portion of the proceeds form this event will go towards installing tee pads for the remaining holes on the course.
The rules are as follows:
The big difference is the format. The game is scored the same as always, but you are ENCOURAGED to hassle other players before, during, and after their shots.
Air horns, dogs, children, and any and all other types of distractions are valid.
As a TD, I may penalize someone for not standing behind the basket when someone else is lined up to putt.
You may not physically touch any other player while he/she is throwing and you cannot stand in front of a player while he/she is throwing or physically alter the flight of the disc in any way.
Entry fee and payouts:
Basic entry fee: $7
$2 of this will go toward the tee pad fund; the other $5 will of course go towards payout.
Primo Plastic is generously donating CTP's ranging from $10 - $35 in value. There will be 1 CTP per hole for a total of $18.
You can also buy mulligans for $1 each with a maximum of 5 per player.
There will be an additional $1 ace fund which already has $37 in the pot.
THE BIG PRIZE:
With celebrating 5 years of dubs at The Lick we will also have a throw off for a basket raffle on old hole 4. For those of you that don't know that's the tee pad that sits ~130 ft. from the current long 3 positions basket.
This will be $1 per throw or $3 for 5. Each shot within the 10 ft. circle gets you a ticket. Each ace gets you 2 tickets.
We'll start this at 12:30 do it again immediately after the tournament.
Greg Campbell is being super generous as always to try to help us get concrete tee pads. Barring all of the Noonan shenanigans, this is also great practice for the GSSS. So please spread the word and help us get one step further in finalizing this course.
