Hey, was planning on treking out to CP next weekend weather permitting -- didn't realize the course was being redone. After ready various e-mails it appears to be 18 now (no longer 27). Anyway, question -- was this completed? Any comments on the new layout? Really liked the old course, so am curious before I haul out there. Thanks in advance for any comments. Rusty.

Just my opinion, but i think it is way more fun than the old layout. Decent amount of walking between a few holes, but it is well worth it :!:

Rusty, I just saw this message. The course redesign is nearly completed. We still lack the official teesigns, the White tees for beginners and some trimming up.

The course is indeed playable and now starts and finishes back by the Rec Center (first left once you enter the park). It is 18 holes and a par of 57 with 3 Par 4's being Holes 6, 16 & 18. We do have some decent walks between a few holes, but we did the best we could to make a good and challenging course out there, so far it appears that 90+% of people like the redesign. We have NexT signs up now but I'd still encourager you to bring a map out there.
