Alternate baskets???

I played today and was thinking that moving a basket for hole 8 down where the BMX area used to be would make it a good LONG hole. Maybe even move 11 back and on the hill?? I'd love to see 13 down in an alternate location too. I can help on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Thanks for moving two, its better at the long position. Just my thoughts.

We used to have a temporary pin position that we played in the BMX area years ago. We will have to get permission to put one back there. It used to be on the ledge near the fenced in area that was a pretty daunting shot. We are not sure what they have planned for the area, but we have our eyes on it. We sure as heck do not want to put a basket in a huge mud hole - maybe we can plant some grass seed there and see what we can come up with.

We are working on getting the park to provide repalcement anchors for the ones that have been hit by mowers (11 in total). They have agreed to purchase next year, but we will have to install them. This is the reason that the baskets have not moved much as of late.

The ultra-long on two has been banned by the park for regular play because the discs fly into the parking lot too much and it encroaches too close to the bike trail. If someone put 2 ultra-long, Dave Kenney will likely get a call soon. The park does not like any new positions that come any closer to walking or biking trails (I think that they'd love to pull hole 18 altogether for that reason).

Okay. Two where it is now is nice. I just think it would be a neat shot down into there for 8. Ever thought about moving 7 to the left or right on that hill? I have several random ideas but I have no pull at CP, I guess there are not many doable options without addittional anchors though. I love CP some times you just play and say "hey this would be cool if the basket was here"

I'd like to see 7 on the precipice of the hill (~15' behind the current pin). It is a subtle change that I think will make the hole more difficult. I do not think that left really does much for the hole.

There are a few positions I have not played but maybe once. 7 Long, 15 Long, 14 Long, 6 accross the creek is a lot of fun. Has anyone ever thought of an alternate for hole number 11?

Throwing from the walking path behind 18's basket to basket 8 is a great hole. Longer, blind shot to the basket throwing over 2 hills and over a valley! Needs serious consideration for a permanet hole. 8 Blue on the path, Red up 100 feet and White be the normal 8 White pad!! Par 4 pro, par 3 Am/Rec!
