Just in case anyone gets digging in the rough I lost a dyed champion roadrunner in there too. Of course it has my name and number in it but I've never actually had someone call after finding my discs; never. So much for karma! Thanks.

But I'll look for yours when I'm in there...

Lost a champion tye-dye valkyrie on hole #4. Mostly clear with red and blue.

It should have my name and info on the inner edge.

Rewards of hugs and kisses are waiting.

Oooooo...I wanted my Roadrunner back so bad I suited up and stomped the brush accross the creek between 5 and 6. Found it! I also found a couple others (sorry, not the ones listed); and, yes I called them...

It's a little easier now to get back in there too for all the rest of you clutch-grippers!

Hey, that's Michael Burton's disc! I can tell because I looked up the PDGA number. I am so smart and figured it out all by myself. You might want to get it back to him as you know he likes to throw only seasoned plastic.

So I could look up his name on the PDGA web site using his PDGA number - how exciting??!!! Never knew I could do that - what a useful tool. Thanks guys!!! Now if the website had a picture or phone number then I could actually return the disc to someone that I have never met - now that would be really useful!!!

....I saw that he was signed up for FCO - I'll get it to him then - thanks for the helpful suggestions... I knew this board had a purpose - bring people together every day :D

Matt Greer, I found your disk in the creek. Hard to read the last four digits of your number though; it's either 7800, 7008, 7600, 7608, or some other combination of 0,6,8. I'll try some more tomorrow.

LOST DISC

Postby Bornabuckeye » Mon Dec 10, 2007 2:44 am

over the summer this past year ( i know i am too late but i thought id try now that i am online?)

I lost a champion Valkyrie, its blue and has the name of some female golfer on it, it was on the hole that wraps around the fenced off compound. I threw it off to the right near a bridge, I was new too the game and i dont think my name was on it at that time, if found i will pay an award.

I'm probably the only one who thinks that's funny as hell... That woman would be Juliana Korver, man! 4x Champ! Sorry, she's from Iowa - I've met her, but don't know her...

I wonder when a Val or Des disc comes out?

OK, so I shulled out on drive from 15 tee, didn't like my second shot from shule, flung Beast across 16 fairway almost hitting running/skating/soccermom type, too embarrassed to go and retrieve disk, and totally forgot about it when I holed out a 60 footer on #15 for boogey... Musta' walked right past it on 16 drive...Not my brightest moment.

Now if anyone out there has my disc, please call, will offer coffee and dough nut round with the Breakfast Club as reward.

I dont put numbers on anything, I get enough calls as it is. I don't mind if someone keeps a disc that I lost. If I really wanted it I would have looked harder for it. Besides, if I threw it somewhere that I could not find it, it didn't fly well for me anyway.

FOUND: Nice Champion Orc - Dyed

4 reasons not to return it:

1) It's a sweet disc
2) Ink is faded and hard to read
3) Phone number on it is "out of service"
4) It was right out in the middle of the fairway on 6 at Central last Saturday.

6 Reasons to return it:
1) It's a sweet disc
2) It IS inked
3) It is probably missed
4) Karma
5) Karma
6) Karma

Sal Cardello or something like that...

Sal's in the office next to mine. He says if he gets his disc back, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' Wouldn't you like to have that going for you?

If you send me a pm with your contact info I'll pass it on.

Haven't received any pm's from you, though I don't doubt you've tried. I'm receiving them from others, so maybe it's a PEBKAC issue? :)

Anyway I've sent you a pm, and if that doesn't work Sal can register here and y'all can work out the return logistics.

LOST and FOUND

LOST: Blue Star wraith, may or may not have my name and PDGA # on the inside rim. Lost by my brother on hole 6 (in or near creek just short of the bridge). Too much water in creek and too cloudy to see well in woods. FOUND IN LAKE AT ALEXANDER PARK AUGUST 2009!

FOUND: White First Run PRO Aviar at the practice basket. Has JF (?) on it with number, will call when I get back in town and have disc if no one responds to this.

FOUND: White Pro Starfire in trees to right of 15 basket. Has J. Jones on disc with number. Will call if no response when I get back in town.

Thanks.

Cousin lost a Champ beast on hole 6? cant remember, the one with the river. It was in the small tree in the fairway, should have name and number but maybe not.

It was in miami colors, bright orange and green or maybe the other way around, much appreciated and reward if returned.

Think I left my clear Atlanta Open orc just inside the trees below the basket on Super-size 14 last week where we finished. My name is on it faintly inside the rim. Any one pick this up? Reward offered 'cause that is my most used driver.

It was sitting on the ground at the red tee for 18. I've got it if you want it...otherwise it will go into the 'give it to a noob for good karma' stack.

Coming from a guy who cleared the lake (400+ with a head wind) in the Final nine at BG to win. Not to tempt you, but if you make that throw again, you will be IN the island on your drive if you aim at the building.

man that shot was SWEEEET!

By the way I think landing to the left is a much more favorable lie than landing in the island. You can use the fence as a backstop.

Except that I'm going to remove the fence for the Event, and just paint an OB Line.

Just have fun on the gym hole this year. It may be the last year. CP is putting another rec center next to the current one - so we will be losing some woods holes - not sure which yet, or definitively when. That is a really great hole - great risk/reward hole. Do you risk going into the hazardous fenced area and throwing out or just drop (just kidding Keith - I saw the OB post)

I went up in the morning before anyone got there and collected my disc, as I need it for this weekend in Massachussettsas well as 4 others off the 2 roofs - then after the USDGC Qualifier was over John Outler along with Drage and Millay, went onto the big roof and got the others including theirs.

Thanks again for all your work to prep the course!

That CFR Wraith that you found is pinkish in color and it may have Jason Oherron name on it ,the stamp I think is a silverish color.
I'll be at the GSSS #6, Jason will kil me if I dont get it back to him , thanks.

Color is correct - no name anywhere, and if Jason or you will be at Toccoa, I'll have it with me there.

LOST Champion Roadrunner - green with my name and number on back. In woods between hole number 1 basket and number 2 tee. Should have posted before. It was lost by my friend during practice for FCO GSSS event in early august. We looked for a long time and think it is up in the trees. My friend is a beginner and this disc was becoming a favorite. Thank you! Hugh

Just to document it. back on the 17th I found a yellow Valk on top of the #2 basket, someone previously found it and set it up there.

I called the owner: Cody and arranged to leave it at the park hidden in a better place (which most regulars could guess).

OR - you could say what the initials are and someone on the board can help you get it to the owner. There is really no need for the added secrecy on the board. 95% of the folks on here are trying to do the right thing.

and while the 95% are doing the right thing to find the owner, the 5% have claimed and stolen a disc that doesn't belong to them. So that once the owner is found, the disc is gone.

Lots of other people say 'give model and weight to claim', they have secrecy and no one complains to them, why pick on me all of a sudden? (and yes I know posting an opinion (of any kind) will get me slammed, but if you want to make negative posts to me for trying to do the right thing, it won't reflect badly on me)

so whatever, tryit your way. A Valk with 'RR' on the back.

The lost and found station is usually the Rec center (first left when you get in the park) 678.455.8540 is the office number. I got that off the county website so God only knows where it may take you. Hope it helps.

That's because you were using a buzzz and it's discraft. If you were using Innova, your disc would have never been lost.

Now this is a damn worthy discussion for once on this site that actually matters!!

I fell in love with the Buzz early on and got my first ace with one, but here lately I throw Rocs. I have three Buzzz and 3 Rocs, two of each in my bag, and rarely throw a Buzz for now. Both are awesome discs, just something about my KC Pro Rancho Roc though!!! I really want a Roc+!!!

Found a blue Discraft disc (think it was a Comet) on hole I today (the last one coming out of the woods holes), no name or number.

Which reminds me that I lost a black Stratus on hole 9 (presumably near the barbed wire) about a month ago, never thought about coming out here to mention it until I found the unmarked disc today. PDGA # 41149 on the disc, guess I ought to include a phone number too. Anyhoo, if anyone found it and would like to return it, I'd really like it back. Best anhyzer disc I had....

I lost two discs:
-Blue 175g Champ Panther on 4. It went off into the woods near the creek and that area was blanketed in poison ivy, so I couldn't get in there too well.
-Blue 164g Champ Monarch on 16. I threw it too high and it stalled out and hyzered into the woods on the left side of the fairway (that goes down into the creek). I don't know if it ended up in a tree or what. I looked for a good twenty minutes or so.

Both discs have my name and number on the inside of the rims.

So I lost an orange elite-z surge...not sure when I lost it. Went to play a couple of weeks ago and noticed it wasn't there last week. I remember throwing it on hole 3. It's more than likely in the shule separating holes 3 and 4's fairways. All the usual info on bottom.

All the other discs I really did not care about, but this one was nice.

I LOST my damn 176 Elite S Avenger SS on the right of the new hole 9 today. I tried to finesse it with little power and it hit off the big tree on the right and kicked right. It's nasty back there and I do not expect it to be found, much less retuned, but if you do find it I would love to have it back. Name and number on back, it is RED

Lost white GSSS'10 DX Valkyrie, hole 12A, in tall crap on left before the creek. Vanished in the brush. Name and phone number on it, good karma will follow you if you call me.

Found a yellow Beast near the #7White tee (must've drifted there while being thrown from #7red)

there was an email on the back, but it was scratched out by a large 'Z' in black sharpie.

PM me if yours.

Lost: Light blue (almost white) star firebird on hole 7. Hit the hill and rolled outta sight during doubles Sunday. I'm not sure if my # is still legible on the back. If found, please PM for contact info. It's one of my oldest and favorite discs so a reward in the form of disc(s) or cash will be available.

Thanks!

I will be out Saturday morning and look around for it. I have vast experience with otherwise good drives hitting the side-hill lie and rolling down into creek area. Had one roll down into the creek near bridge to hole 8...Will call or post if found.

If anyone happened to find a lighter blue helios on hole #13, I would really appreciate getting it back. There is no name or number on the back. I lost it about three or four weeks ago and didn't have a lot of time to look for it. I've been busy helping family out of state and haven't had a chance to play since. Just give me a call @ 678 Nine3Six 9Nine8Two Thanks.

Heard a rumor of some kids playing around with a disc meeting that description near the baseball fields. The person who told me this asked them to call the name on it, but they didn't seem to have any intention of doing so.
