NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. It moved from Saturday to Sunday.
The tags are in. They look sweet. Yellow with blue lettering.

To kick of the season, I'm running a 1 round match Sunday April 10 at Redan.

Signup will follow the 1st round of P-nut Doubles. I hope to have the round started by 1-1:15PM. Tag cost is $15 again this year.

Come play a warm up round of doubles and stay for the bag tag.

If you can't make this event, we will split the remaining tags up to a few people across the metro area.
I will have some, I think Ritger volunteered to take some for the Wednesday Perk action people.

We still need vounteers from other sections of town to distribute tags for their area. If you can, please PM me.

To kick of the season, I'm running a 1 round match Saturday April 09 at Redan. With current tournaments on the ADGO calendar and my work schedule this is the only date available. Signup from 9-9:45AM, then get everyone playing by 10AM. Tag cost is $15 again this year.

FYI Pro's This is normally when most people buy their tag versus the finale when the cash is up for grabs. Be a good sport this year and get your tag early.
I would like to vote for a deadline of when you have to buy your tags this year to be eligible to particpate in the finale for the cash.
Anyone else feel that way? How about August 1st or the Lake Russell event, or something?

I do have to apologize, I did not want the tags to be yellow. We just did that a few years ago. I was trying to get GOLD instead but I guess they didn't pay attention nor did they send me a color proof. I guess I need to be more specific and should have learned after last year when I said green and they sent a very different shade of green. :lol:

I can't make it Saturday as I will be in Chattanooga attempting to win a tourney and eat a Moonpie at the same time. I will be getting MY #1Tag later.

I've had several people indicate they can make a match on Sunday, but not on Saturday.

Let's take a quick straw pole. Please only reply if you intend to make the match.

If you intend to come on Satuday, please Add a note indicating this.

If you prefer Sunday (sign-up from 12PM-12:45PM tee off approx 1PM) please add a note indicating this.

If you can make either day, please indicate that.

Based on tallies I will make a final call Friday afternoon at approximately 4PM and post it at the top of the thread.

Looks as though Sunday is the preferred date. So come out and play a round of P'nut doubles and then stay for a round of bag tag.

The Atlanta Area Bag Tag league is a way local players can have a little extra fun competing against one another. At the top of the 'Atlanta Bag Tag Challenge' thread the general rules are posted "2010 Rules Of Engagement". Once you have a tag, you can challenge other players who have a lower number tag. If you win the round, you swap tags with the person you played. You can play pretty much any course you and your opponent agree to. Once the round is completed you just need to post your scores either at discgolfscene.com or at this site, on the threat titled "2011 ADGO Bag Tag Standings" so we can update them.
At the end of the year we have a 1 day tournament to determine the overall winner for the year.
