All of the above discs have been given to children that I have seen on the course.
Please remember, if you want a lost disc returned, your chances increase if you legibly write your name and # on the disc.

Well, that's a very charitable and kind thing to do. Give discs to the chill'uns. Then those kids can bug their parents to buy them some discs online (or take the trek to Play It Again in Snellville).

The red tees are perfect for the elementary/middle school whippet-snappers lol. Definitely a course that was made in mind with an emphasis on the youth. You or somebody should get in touch with some of the school teachers to plan field trips to The Herm - man, I wish I would've been introduced to disc golf at say, Chastain Park back in '82-83. I did get into DG finally after playing Chastain and Wills Park during my freshman college year.

Say, Mr. Fix It! Maybe you could be the 'Tom Monroe' of Oconee County, as far as being a teacher of frisbee/disc sports to the young'uns (such as Tom). A mentor to the kids of that elementary school up the road and North Oconee HS you can be.

We (the Dept) have sponsored a kid's clinic thru the afterschool program. We are hoping to have another for the summer camp.
As far as schools, both NOHS and OCHS have kids bussed in to the park to play disc golf for a PE program.
In my opinion, it is best to start off w/ ettiquette and rules, then throwing techniques, which we cover w/ the clinics. The kids seem to enjoy it, and some of them have been sighted on the course w/ their parents in tow!

So I realize that it is likely long gone by now, but I went to throw my glo roc today and noticed that it wasn't in my bag. I must have left it on the fairway somewhere out here on Sat. If you locals wouldn't mind keeping your eyes peeled, I would really like to get it back if possible.
It should have my name/number in the inside rim but I have been know to forget to mark my discs on occasion...
Thanks
