Short notice practice day at Flyboy

As you know, playing Flyboy now requires an escort on the course by either me or Brad Orman. Brad will be escorting tomorrow around 1pm, so if you want some practice before the AO, contact Brad and coordinate with him at borman429@aol.com or 404-234-7149. A HUGE thank you to the Georgia Tech dg club, and Chris R. for stepping up and volunteering their time on Saturday the 9th. Anyone else who whould like to pitch in and help that Saturday morning, and then play a round in the afternoon, please email me for details about where to meet.

We've been working steadily on the course trying to get it ready for the AO. The latest, greatest improvement is that all the baskets at Flyboy are now double chained, and I swear the DB-5s now catch as good as the Discatchers! If you haven't played the new Layout at Flyboy, I think you'll enjoy it. There are now a few more duce oppertunities on a couple of the holes, as well as some length added on others. The new layout is about 13,000 feet at a par 95.

You've ALWAYS stepped up to help, even without me asking. I wish there were more like you! I've taken off work from now till after the AO, so any week day is good for me. Let's get in a round while we're at it.

By the way, I made some changes you recommended....no more long walk through the woods #17 to #18, if you haven't seen it yet. I need to install the tee pad on #18, and fix the one on "Lefty's."
