Kelly just bought 9 Innova Discatcher Pro's to replace 1/2 the single chain baskets.
I've played some double chained baskets that wouldn't let the disc fall in the bucket if the putt wasn't going 50mph (ala Dusty style) so having more chains is not always a good thing.
I also think that having the rubber mats is a good thing as the design can change without major work being done or busting up poured concrete slabs. To me, having temp. pads is not a reason for a lower rating as the course is always changing and improving.
Hope others see it the way I do. (i think a true DG course is never actually finished... it should/can be a continuous evolution to perfection)
