Post Road is finally open!

Please be advised that Post Rd is now open, and is the best route south off I-20 towards Flyboy Aviation. Go the the courses section of this site to get current directions to Flyboy. Again, POST ROAD IS NOW OPEN!

Under the directions thread I see you mention that the road is now open but the directions still mention it being closed (See below)...

Does that mean the directions are still taking us around the closed road? Just checking...

From Atlanta: Take I-20 west towards Douglasville. Do not use Post road, it is closed! Exit I-20 on to Hwy 5 (left turn on Hwy 5 after the exit) and proceed south through Douglasville. Drive 6 or 7 miles until you reach the turn circle at Hwy 166. Go right on Hwy 166. Proceed several miles and turn left on Jones Mill Road. (look for the BIG power lines across this intersection, and the sign for "Consolation Church"). Proceed on Jones Mill Rd about 3 miles to Consolation Church Road and turn left. Pass the church, the road turns to gravel, and turn left at Mailbox #254. Follow parking directions.

I have never been here and I'm new to the area. So how do I get to this place off of 20?? Do I take post road?

I took post road tuesday and it was real easy to get to flyboy
