Phil Arthur plays Flyboy for the first time.

Had a great round with Rand, Phil, and Moose on Tuesday. Watching those big arms play the course adds a whole new perspective to the 27 hole Gold layout, and I've tweaked it a little based on their suggestions. Phil shot 11 under.....not bad for the first look at the course. I think he'll be able to break into the 70's (par is 100) after a few more rounds here.

Yeah, he's good. It makes me sad that I've played there probably 30-40 times and he's only 2 off of my record on his first trip out. I don't think that record is gonna stand for too much longer There is a reason why he's a world champion.

At least I did take him on the runway hole (1600ft par 7). He had a double circle 9......should have been a 5, which he will most certainly achieve next time out. Very down to earth guy, great to learn from.

Glad you got to play with both Rand & Phil.

These two guys really are "Pros" both in the way they play and the way they represent our state and the sport of disc golf.

Moose really is not that bad a guy either.

I hope to get out there agin real soon, I think my best score on the new layout is a 98.
(I did duece the "tree hole" though)

Phil set the new course record at Flyboy today with an 85......15 under par! Sorry Millay, you're just gonna have to work harder!

I played Flyboy today for the first time and it was phenominal. I shot a 114 but should have been at least 5 strokes better!!Great job Kelly. Thank you for all of the awesome hospitality.

I played nine holes with Phil Arthur and he is something else. Maybe one day I can play like him, he has 19 more years of disc golf experience then me. He is in the White Oak Event. Great players, great course, great time. Thanks again Kelly and I hope I am invited out again sometime. Totally worth the hour and twenty minute drive for me!!!

Course is hard enough for us "normal" folks.

I think we should just make everything a Par 3 for Phil. LOL
