Chiggers?

I am not sure if I got ate up at Claystone in Macon, at GSSS at Meeks, or in the bed at The Seasons Inn but I have a lot of bites on me now. I did not spray because I have not heard chiggers being a problem at Meeks. The bites are mainly around my waist and thighs. Did anyone else get into any mess this weekend?

Conor and I got them all over our ankles. Must have been the park since the rest of the family was not affected.

They're probably hiding out in the tee pads - another reason for concrete!

It's been so long since I've had to worry about them that they didn't even cross my mind. I realized my mistake when I got home and found that my torso was a giant welt...

Those are mountain hillbilly chiggers and the sneak up on you - Always Spray - I also recommned spraying the bottom of your bag too so you don't get any hitch hikers....The reality is that this advice is way too late and you are feeling like you have to scratch right now - doh!!

REI sells this stuff called Repel 100. It is 100% deet. It is a little pricey but it goes a long way and is better than a swollen sac
