Redan tournament?

It seems that now more than ever, people want to play a tourney at Redan. Well I am willing to help make that happen, are you? If I can find enough support I will make it happen.

First off, does anyone have a contact number for who we should talk to about reserving the park? I know that speedy used to be the go-between for the TDs and Parks Department. Does anyone have his number and could ask him?

The next thing that we need for this tournament to happen, is some course sponsors. I don't know what the exact fee will be but I figured we could have four course sponsors at $100-$125 each and that would probably cover it.

I will also need hole sponsors but I don't think that will be too hard to do if we keep it cheap ($25ish). But it would be good to know who out there would be interested in sponsoring holes.

I love Redan more than anyone and would love to play another tournament there. It will be a lot of work but I would really like to see this happen. This is the time for all of those people that have said they want a Redan tourney to step up and commit to helping make it happen.

Being that I probably started the whole thing I'd come off looking like a giant douchebag if I didn't support this so count me in for a couple. I can't speak for Keith but being that he loves redan and everyone out there I think he'd be very supportive of this as well

I've said multiple times that I'll help with the course sponsorship. If we can get a few people to split it, that'd be great.

Sounds good Dollar and you are the boss if you are going to make this happen.

However, my vote is November (not the 17th) or October (not the 13 or 27) or even sometime in December. Those are working days for me. This isn't about me by the way, just chiming in. If my schedule fits your schedule and I get to play, I'll be sponsoring some holes or part of the course or something.

I also vote for two days of Redan with some pin placement movement. My little butt can move some baskets!

I don't think Tim has formally alerted Keith yet, but we are seriously looking at 10/27 as a date for Lost in the Woods this year, which will likely be a sanctioned C-Tier. Just FWIW on dates, since that one was mentioned upthread (albeit as a date to avoid).

The thought of a tournament at Redan...exciting!!! And if it was possible for it to be a fall 2 day tournament......WOW! Good times were always had at Redan tournaments. They have been missed! Worst case I will sponsor a hole but if the date falls where I can attend I will do more.
