During our doubles round this morning Al pointed out some graffiti on basket #9 which was cleaned off.

Please have some respect for the park! If you ace a hole have your witnesses sign your disc.

There is no reason to vandalize the baskets, course or the park!

Someone recently tagged 12 with some big red marker on 7/24/11 Victor I think was his name...

Some courses in Florida look like trash with the ace tags all over the baskets. Not to mention its vandalism. Disc Diving isnt a crime, but tagging county property with your ace is stupid. Keep the park clean.

Maybe someone with the Parks and Rec or GDGO could get a sign posted displaying proper ettiquite when it comes to aces.

Or even an Ace Board.

Go Jo hand cream and a washcloth takes it off with no effort basically. It is a cheap and non chemically hazardous way to remove it without removing the paint or number stickers.

Getting it off as soon as poosible accomplishes 2 things
1) it lets people know their vandalism won't be seen by others
2) if others see you REMOVING it it will hopefully keep them form thinking about marking them to begin with.

It has worked for me in Miami, Tuscon and here so far.

Vincent's was easy. The disc golf biography on 17 (full name, "first ace ever!" name of the disc, date and time) was tougher.
