The best chances of getting new disc golf courses in Gwinnett start with residents showing interest. You can do just that by going to one (or more) of the meetings listed below. Ed and I will be at tonight's meeting, and I encourage all Gwinnett Disc Golfers to attend at least one. The following was released by Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation:
As part of preparation of the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation 2013 Capital Improvement Plan, we would like to obtain public input on the desires and concerns of our citizens. Public Input Meetings are one of our key methods for getting such input. Attendees will complete a survey form and then have an opportunity for comments. Information obtained is provided to the Capital Improvement Plan Steering Committee and will assist them in proposing how Gwinnett County might expend capital dollars in future capital programs. We appreciate the time and effort citizens expend to attend these meetings.
