We could also use a wheel barrow and shovel to move some of the mulch from hole 8 to places that need it like in front of the 2 teepad.
Please bring a stick with a nail on the end or gloves to pickup trash with.
Event Schedule
All Pros, Adv Masters & Adv Gr. Mstr.
Saturday - Lenora
Sunday - Redan
All Ams and Intermediates
Saturday - Redan
Sunday - Lenora
That should slow the field down enough to be in sync with the rest of the ams.Laserman wrote:So I put the Advanced Maters and Advanced Grandmasters with the Pros to allow more Ams to play.
Funky Bobby J wrote:I know what the first post says, but there still seems to be a little confusion - not sure why. All geezers (AM and otherwise play at the same course as the pros correct? And THAT pool is not yet full - ET was asking asn he was told that the AM pool was full... Can you just clear this up a bit for us older fuzzy-headed folks?

What is Skelator doing playing ADV?

All jokes aside, I was looking at past Hotlanta scores and noticed his last rating was 964, and he has accepted cash before since he won Fire Ant last year.
Isn't there PDGA rules about Pro's over 955?
Or since he isn't a current member does it not matter?

Partly to mostly pars with an occasional birdie/bogie as the rounds heat up.

I would also like to announce that it takes 3 players to make a division.
There are currently only 1 MJ2 and 2 MG1's. If this situation remains the same on Saturday morning, the MJ2 will merge into the MJ1 division and the MG1's will merge into the MM1 division.

The volunteer spirit of the disc golf community is incredible and we couldn?t have tournaments like HOTLANTA without the help of a lot of people. Again I would like to thank the sponsors, CTP contributors, the hardworking staff and especially my two assistant TD?s, Scott Prandy and Jay Voss.

Are those FINAL round ratings or just early numbers subject to revision?
Laserman wrote:Ed,
Small divisions are always hard to handle as are last minute division changes.
....a notation on the tourney flyer stating a player minimum for a division
might solve this in the future.
The PDGA Competition manual states:
?Tournament Directors may offer divisions with less than four players at their discretion.?
...hence the 2-player pro grandmaster division. i understand.
I posted the following early Thursday afternoon:
?I would also like to announce that it takes 3 players to make a division.

...i read it about 8:30pm, right after checking the PDGA Hotlanta Tour player listing and noting a formerly adv. gm registrant had moved to adv. master. it was my misunderstanding that any other division affected by this type of action would also become subject to this announcement.
Did you want to play in a division of two players or did you want to play Pro Grandmaster? If you did, you should have approached me sometime prior to the tournament after my post on Thursday.
...after the TD announces that it takes 3 players to make a division, why would i approach the TD ask for a division of 2? the TD has spoken.
...as to playing pro, you said it best (lol):

I hope there are no hard feelings over this.
...lawdy, no! you were the TD and made the tough decisions that were in the overall best interest of the tourney.

I challenge all of you to volunteer for an event and help out. It really is quite amazing when you get to see the "behind the scenes" side of a tourney, and it gives you a greater appriciation of how hard people work to make these events happen.
Plus driving across Lenora in the rain to put out water coolers was too fun!
Why did you see Morty's bare butt?
