Divisions: Pro Field, Am Field, Pop/Pup Field (Pups must be 12 or under), Ladies, Juniors
There must be at least 4 teams in a division to make a division. If there are less than 4 teams in a division (i.e. only 2 ladies teams) then those teams will default into the AM division.

Tees Played: Pro (black/black), Am (blue/blue), Pop/Pup, Juniors, Ladies (red/red)

Format:
2 Rounds - 1st round best score, 2nd round best disc (same as last DarnTree Doubles format)
Round 1: Best Score. Each player plays the hole as they would while playing singles; there are no shared lies. The team score is the best score on the hole by one of its players. On the scorecard, only write down the best score.
Round 2: Best Shot. Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the two resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed. Only one of the team players needs to make a putt for the hole to be complete.
Out-of-Bounds: Inside playground’s perimeter. Within outlined creek on hole 2. On top of trailers on hole 4. On or over the walking path on holes 6,7,10,11,14, and 15. Inside “the pond” on hole 12 is OB. Across OB line between holes 11 & 17. If the mando is missed on hole 11, play your next shot (with penalty) from the next lower pad. Two meter rule is IN EFFECT.

Payout:
BIG CHECKS for the winners in all divisions!
Cash payout for the PRO field.
Disc Caddie Golf will be present and will do payout for all AM fields.

I plan to do some blue pad renovations and erosion control on 16 before tourney time.

Anything particular you're referring to that can be addressed? and please feel free to use the word "shule" as needed

What needs trimming/cleaning on 2? Don't disagree with most of what you mention, or that we need to clean up the big downed tree on the left side of 18. And yes, I noticed last time I was out that the space between trailers is seriously in danger of becoming completely filled in with bushes/trees. A lot of stuff was done last fall for LITW, but not much since. I'd love to say I'd do it, but I really only have this weekend and the weekend of July 20-21 at home to do anything between now and then -- I leave for Kansas for Am Worlds July 4 and get back July 14, then have the camp July 15-17. And I suspect the wife's going to claim one or both of those weekends for stuff that needs doing around the house. I should be able to do some work on Saturday the 27th since my family will be out of town.

SOLDOUT!

Still waiting until later today to see the status of equipment on holes 4 and 5. If you haven't seen any of Scott Walker's photos of the carnage that he has been posting to Facebook, here is a breakdown. 5 has the earth mostly recovered. Its very sloppy, muddy, and there is a fallen tree over to the left side of the fairway. Still playable in my book. 4 is more questionable. A lot depending on if equipment is moved today or not. Silt fence around 4's basket could pose a problem. Option for putting a temp basket short on hole 4 and playing to there.

If we deem one of those holes unplayable a temp hole would be setup in the open grassy area to the right of hole #2. This will be a shorter (maybe 220-250'?) slightly uphill shot with a strong chance for a marked island "green" and OB. There was a fort building class that takes place out in that field. Last I looked there were still forts out there that might play mind games with you on the drive. No windmills or giant clown heads unfortunately.

Stay tuned and see you at the player's meeting.

Tentative plan for holes 3-5 where the construction is.

Hole 3 is fine and will play as normal. Scott did some clearing today and hole 5 is playable. It IS however very muddy and you won't want to throw an errant shot. Hole 4 will have a temp basket placement through the gap leading towards the trailers and to the left somewhere. The AM teams will play from the concrete pad and the PRO teams will tee off further back on the walking path. Scott said it'll play around 310' for the pros. That's the plan anyway. Details at the player's meeting.

Tournament was a HUGE success IMO. The 3 years I've run DarnTree the field is full with at least one team waiting for an open spot. Its always a pleasure hearing from the players how much fun they have playing the two doubles formats on a challenging course.

Thanks to everyone involved and everyone who came out and played.

Weather was a perfect 10 and I thought that despite the constuction problems on holes 4 and 5, it went very smoothly and they were playable and fun. I kinda like hole 4 with the shorter basket placement and pushed back tee pad. One thing that really stood out to me this year was the number of people that came out to just help. Hole spotters were a huge help. I left the score cards in the scorepointe which is now in Scott's possession. I'll upload scores asap. If you still want a sponsorship disc (firebirds and roc3's) talk to Disc Caddie.

Thanks again to Barry Arnson, Brett Porter, Scott Walker, Bob Pressley with Disc Caddie, Ed Jensen, Dennis and more.
