IDGC Ironman, June 16th PDGA C-Tier -"All 3 courses one day"

This event has been 4 years in the making, i have had many many requests to play all three courses in a one day tournament. Initially I decided that I would not sanction this event, but alas decided that I should for insurance reasons. I am working on a cool player's pack item and lunch for all participants. In order to finish in daylight and start a bit later so you Atlanta folks can get here in the morning we will try to have shorter breaks than normal.


Tentative event schedule:

8:00am Check in/Late Registration
9:00am WR Jackson Memorial
1:00pm Jim Warner Memorial
4:30pm Steady Ed Headrick Memorial


Lunch will be provided, but be sure to pack snacks and drinks to keep you replenished for this challenging day.

Divisions and Pricing:

Open: $40

Pro Women: $40

Advanced/Adv. Women: $30

Advanced Masters: $30

Intermediate: $25

Recreational: $25

I changed it from the Non-sanctioned to sanctioned thread here on the website.

Keep in mind that Macon also has an Event that day also - and even though legal with the milage restrictions for the PDGA C-tiers - it will be interesting to see which 2 hour+ trip most ATL players take.

I'm just sad in a way that I won't be taking either trip.

Yea sorry, we decided last minute to sanction it for insurance purposes i really did not want to do that. Thank you for understanding, I would think the ones in it for the prizes will go to Macon as they are doing a great job fundraising and promoting the event. The IDGC Ironman will be more about finally completing the dream of having a one day three round tournament here, and to be a part of that special moment. This will be a low frills, grueling day of disc golf at the IDGC, don't be scared!

I wish I could make it to this, but alas, we will be in Minnesota (Probably at Blue Ribbon Pines DGC that day).

ha Bootsie well since the Jackson is the first course I hope everyone can make it though that one I'm playing too, most of the office is as this is an exciting event for us..I can barely play 2 rounds in a day right now so this is gonna be rough!

We picked up Publix as a sponsor of the event and will have some fruit available thoughout the round and we will provide Boar's Head sub sandwiches for lunch after the first round!!!

We also picked up some super unique and awesome trophies, I have once again put some effort into the trophies and you will not be disappointed!!!
