USDGC 2012

I'm sure most of you have heard that this year's USDGC will be divided into two divisions.

The Open Flight will be the most exclusive field ever in disc golf. World Champs, US Champs, Sponsors and State Reps no longer have a standing invitation. No one from GA is qualified, but hopefully that will change!

The Performance Flight will be handled like last years Event and will be based on handicapped scoring. Each state does get a state Rep spot for the Performance Flight (possibly taking 50 of the 72 spots.)

Anyway, I was wondering how Keith was planning on handling the GA Rep spot. Anyone else have any input?

I talked to Jonathan Poole at the Memorial about this years changes and was going to /will be posting info AFTER the 1st GSSS Event.

Of course if you were in Lula this weekend as a GSSS team member, you could have heard about them first hand.

But seriously, I'd say it would be perfectly reasonable if you did. You are one of the biggest, if not the biggest promoter of disc golf that GA has seen in the past few years.*

You deserve it, I'd nominate you to go.

*To all the troll rebuttals: I am well aware that the PDGA is the biggest promoter of disc golf in the state...but they are an organization and not an individual.
