Disc Golf Atlanta Disc-cussion

It is with great sadness that I have decided to cancel the Atlanta Open for this upcoming year. I am starting a new job and do not have the time to focus on tournament details over the next few months. My plan is to bring it back in the Spring of 2013 as an Atier. Thank each of you that were a part of the last seven Atlanta Open events!

Rand- Thank you so much for the many years of work that you have put into the Atlanta Open! Thank you for giving the ATL Pros a spring tournament when there were none. You're the man and I really appreciate all that you have done and continue to do. Best of luck with the new job.

I agree that this is sad for the city of Atlanta. Is there no way to still make this happen?

Look at it this way: it's not cancelled, it's postponed until 2013 and will return stronger than ever.

Agreed. I am also looking forward to 2013. Since there will be no GSSS (also sad), I bet we can pack it full in 2013!
