Nice set-up on this course! Played 36 holes here today and managed under par both rounds. If the forecast is good, I'm planning on playing this one. If you play, bring extra towels for the first round as it was really wet at 8:45 this morning. Second round was better. Watch out for some slick tee pads. Hole 2 is AMAZING and TOUGH. Was happy to par it both times. Also...Rich, you'll like this one....I lost my "famous" teal Avenger in the river on #10. Maybe "Olga" will be around to help me out.

Amazing! The "un-losable" teal Avenger has been found again! Thanks to Kevin Carter for locating this disc at the Trussville Civitan Park course and arranging for a mailing return. Even the Cahaba River can't devour that disc!

About 95% of course maintenance done, player packs ready to go and dozens of people out practicing over the past few weeks.

$500 added cash to Open (pros playing their own layout) and Ams receiving a ~$40 player pack which we'll value at ONLY $18 to keep the final payout strong! Ams will also play for 'win back entry fee' CTPs and there will be additional CTP prizes. Frisbee bowling at lunch for a chance at an Innova mini basket!

FREE smoked ham & turkey lunch + sides! This is not going to be a tourney to miss!!

Finally got all the plastic sorted out tonight.

Am Player packs will be a mix of all Champion Sidewinder, Teebird Plus, Leopard, Glow Wraith, Nukes - first come, first served on model/weight/color.

Hi sorry to invade this thread but anyway .... I will be coming down from Maryland and be in the Atlanta area the weekend of 12/17, 12/18 and I will be playing the DGB Christmas Classic on Saturday in Alabama and I saw on the PDGA schedule The Undercover Iron Chicken Invitational pro C tier on Sunday 12/18 in Atlanta. If that is happening and I could get an invitation I would like to play that too but so far I have not been able to find any info on that. (I guess it is really undercover) anyway if anyone could help me out on this with a post or PM I would appreciate it. Thanks!

We're hoping to see some of the pros playing the invitational on Sunday make a weekend of it and come over to the Christmas Classic on Saturday (2 hours away) for a chance at B-Tier cash!

We've also been doing course improvement work for several weeks now and have benches on all holes except a couple... for those of you who've played hole 18 at Civitan before:
