Those of you interested in the 2012 GSSS Lake Russell Open

It is already on the calendar with the state and it is already past the start of the 11 month window for cabins and camping.

Just got the contract for the 2012 LRO - and it is gone from $2 per person for the weekend to $3 per person per DAY - so it is now $6 a player just to the state.

The $2 fees to the state in the past were covered by the tee sign sponsorships for the individual Event, but there is no way to cover $432, so the LRO entry fees will be raised $5 similar to what I did for the NGCT this year (which has a $5 per player greens fee).

I hope this will not discourage anyone from playing in the Event in 2012.

Mark did ask if we could only pay 3 per person for the weekend, but he was told no - it had to be per day.

Keith

All of the GSSS info for 2012 will be posted soon!

From the looks of the pictures I saw posted (by Bob I think) of you, Lofstrand, and Dickerson, you may want to brew a batch with some added caffeine and less alcohol...

Speaking for myself, next year I'm gonna drink more of Barry's beer and eat less cheese balls. Man those things make you tired...
