9:30am Tee Off
JP Mosley Park Sockbridge, GA
Added money to Pro Purse.

Bring-Your-Own-Partner - Best Shot Doubles
Two rounds of 18 holes (Field Limited to 108 players)

Four Divisions:

Pro $110/team Cash Payout
Amateur $60/team Disc Voucher
MIXED (Guy/Girl) $50
Pop and Pup (Adult/child) $50/team Disc Voucher
These two divisions aren’t sanctioned, so no PDGA points will apply.

¤ $2from every entry will go towards PDGA player’s fees (Mixed/Pop & Pup exempt).
¤ Pre-Registration is available at PDGA online signup.
¤ 1st Place Amateur, Mixed Division & Pop/Pup will receive trophies and discs.
¤ 1st Place Pro team will receive cash and trophies.
¤ Top 3rd of each division will be paid out.
¤ All players will receive a tournament stamped disc at check in on Sat.

All divisions will play from the same tees, but the PUPS. We will create a shorter set up for the PUPS to tee off from. POPS will play the long tees. Everyone else in the field will play from the Gold layout at JP Moseley. (This format could change, pending a discussion with Keith

)

Side Action: “More side action than a dog track” $20 all in.
$2 Ace Fund – CTP throw off if not hit.
$1 CTP on every hole
CTP prizes on designated holes

P.S.- why was this sanctioned tournament never stickied? And why is the GSSS info thread still so well after all events are over? Why was a general info thread stickied in the first place? My event was unstickied within two days after the end of the tournament. All I'm saying is let's be fair about this.

It's up to the TD to sticky it - Rand didn't list it as a PDGA event, so how would anyone know?

Events are removed from sticky 48 hours after Event is over.

GSSS info thread covers the series and thread was just left out after bonus Event, it is now unstickied and by the way - it's not a conspiracy mr. pain in the butt. :mrgreen:

I didn't see anything about stickying your own tournament unless you're a moderator. Not calling out a conspiracy, just think Rand may have fared better if his tournament was stickied and not hidden under other tournaments. Great tournament BTW.

Then if that's the case - Rand could have asked a moderator - it wasn't really clear that this was a PDGA Event unless you looked real hard, and I didn't pay much attention to what it was since I was going to be / and was in Vegas during the Event date.

I'm pretty sure that everyone knew that it was going on as it was near the top of the thread since day 1 and it has been going on for 16 years around the same time frame.

I just think it is the same issue that faced, myself, you, Barry and to a smaller extent(because of the course which draws tons of people for dubs and therefore has a built in following) Gerrit with lots of Events 5 weeks in a row.

And maybe something to do with me going to both courses 2-3 times a week handing out flyers and business cards and asking people to sign up. Not many of the dubs players have signed up yet, but a whole bunch of newbie locals have. Hopefully the rest of the regulars are just waiting till this week.

(Not that I don't recognize that I'm lucky to have a park with the kind of traffic Alexander has. It's a big factor, to be sure.)

And back on topic. Conor and I were very sorry to miss Fright Flight this year. We just ran into scheduled priorities this year. Hopefully we will be there for number 17.

Team "We got this in the bag' did not take in account that the Central Mikes would come back so strong in the 2nd round.
We beat 'em the 1st 18 by 1 stroke! It was a battle the whole round.
Then 2nd round we were on the lead card down by two, to Jeff and Miles who shot a 52 the 1st rd.
