2011 SC Doubles Championship

The 2011 SC Doubles Championship registration is now open.

It's a two day B tier tournament. It will be in Walhalla and Seneca, SC on September 17th and 18th. Each player will get a choice of one of three discs from Innova and one of three discs from Discraft. There is a limited number of each kind of disc and it is first come first serve.

Only 36 teams will be allowed to play in this year event. Details and a link to the registration can be found at SCdoubles.com.

We've got the first 6 teams registered. The SC Doubles Championship is always a great event and we're hoping to see some Atlanta players again this year.

The sooner you register the better choice of discs you'll get for your player pack. Each player will get a choice of a one of three Innova Discs and one of three Discraft Discs. I have a limited number of each so it is first come first serve on the disc choices. Also you need to register before September 1st to get a t-shirt.

We've filled half of the 36 slots for the tournament. I wonder if the 2010 champs from Atlanta will be defending their title?

The 2008 and 2010 SC Doubles Champions will most likely not be defending. I have to work, but Vach might make the trip with a new partner.

Hate to hear that. Right now there is only 2 pro teams...the Cunninghams and MJ. MJ hasn't said who is partner will be yet.

T-shirts will be ordered tomorrow. You must register by tonight at Midnight to get a tournament tshirt. All players will get two discs and stash minis. Still only 2 pro teams.
