I hear ya Matthew.
We did explore Redan for 2011. Unfortunately, the fee to play Redan is significantly higher than other area courses.
The ADGO BOD is looking into running the 2011 Member event at Redan. Not sure if the ADGO will "secure" the course at the county fee, run the member event in a format which will not require exclusive usage of the course for the day, or host the member event at a different location.
As Ritger has pointed out to me, we as a disc golf community need to get past paying a player fee (especially an inexpensive one) to play private and public courses. I don't disagree, but Disc Caddie (Bob and I) have decided to take advantage of the no costs arrangement, facilities and new course layout at OP for this years DC Finale.
If you have played a 2011 Disc Caddie Tourney or purchased a CFR, you are eligible to play in the Finale. We will be working to add cash and value to the final event at OP and I hope you can make it!

Does that mean since I've done neither that I can't sign up? Not sure if I'm interpreting that correctly...
Thanks,
Alan

Lay off the bong water Taylor. My rating is below 900
. Waiting for 2012 and I'll be eligible to play advanced master so I'm thinking about making the move
.

Rd 1
Pro's, ADV & INT - Gold to Gold
INT Women, REC and Jrs - Silver to Gold
Rd 2
Pro's & ADV - Gold to Gold
INT, REC and Jrs - Gold to Silver
Tournament Central will be located on back deck of Swingtime, the old driving range.
OBs and notes:
No Two Meter rule.
Surrounded by water in any creek is OB. Dry or not surrounded by water in creek bed is inbounds.
Play all non target baskets as trees and play shot where the disc lies, i.e., no relief. As if stuck in a tree, if your disc rest in a non-target basket, mark directly below disc (verticality), with NO penalty.
Hole #1 - Inside Rock Pond is OB when playing to the Gold basket. Outside of Rock ISLAND is OB when playing to the Silver basket. The island/pond will be marked with paint along the outside of the rock edges.
Hole #4 and #5 - Building plays casual. If you are on or in the building drop on direct line backward to tee pad within 3 meters of building.
Hole #11 - Creek and beyond down left side of fairway. Since the creek is dry in places, the far bank represents OB. ie., If part, or all, of your disc is in the dry creek bed, you are inbounds. If you are surrounded by water, in water and touching opposite bank, on opposite bank, or across creek, you are OB.

Bradshaw i think you might be a little of with holes 4 and 5 if im not mistaken. Hole 4 is the first hole on the old course which does not have a builidng. the holes you are talking about i believe are holes 5 & 6. hole 5 has the pavillion on the other side of the tree line and hole 6 has the little shack at the bottom of the hill. also hole 11 has no water, thats hole 12 the rock shot. is this what your refering to?
da4nex wrote:Outside of Rock ISLAND is OB when playing to the Silver basket.
This one has me scratching my head a bit, Mr. BP.
So I'm playing REC, I tee off from Gold and if my drive doesn't make it within the rock ring around the basket, I take a stroke and re-tee? And keep re-teeing until I get a drive inside the ring?

Hey Jay,
The stool you found belongs to Matthew Orchard. Are you playing in the Lula or PPIG tourneys?
Let me know please,
