Team Competition in SC

There will be a three-player team competition Saturday July 23rd at Chattooga Belle Farm in Long Creek, SC. Two rounds of 18 with two different formats. This will be a NON-SANCTIONED event.

Divisions offered will be Pro, AM, and Mixed.

Pro team's cost will be $150 per team/$50 per player. AM and Mixed cost will be $75 per team/$25 per person.

$5 per player will go to the course (its a pay-to-play) with the rest going to payout. Pros play for cash. AMs play for Strange Disc Sports merchandise certificates.

The formats will challenge your team and how you attack each hole. It should make for a fun day. More details to come.

First Round Format:
Only two of three players throw from each lie. Whoever's shot you take, does not throw on the next turn and whoever hits the putt doesn’t get to tee off on the next hole.

Second Round Format:
Only one-player tees off each hole, the other two will play best shot from that point till the team holes out. Each player must throw a tee shot from 6 of the 18 holes. Those holes will be predetermined before the round begins.

Best cumulative score from the two combined rounds wins.

Pro payout will be 1/3 of the field.

AM Payout will be 1/2 of the field.

Mixed Payout will be 1/2 of the field.

This Team Competition is being hosted by GODG, Strange Disc Sports, Adam Wright & Chattooga Belle Farm. This past weekend at the Strange Disc Tour event in Greenville, players were putting there teams together. Hope we see some Atlanta players in July.

We hope to see some Atlanta teams up in Long Creek, SC at the first ever Triple Team Threat Tournament at Chattooga Belle Farm. Tournament is a NON- Sanctioned event with pro teams getting paid hard, cold cash and all other divisions being paid in Strange Change vouchers from Strange Disc Sports.

Four divisions are being offered...Pro, AM, Mixed and Class A. Class is for any team where all players are over the age of 35.

Cost is $150 per team for Pro and $75 per team for all other divisions.

We're planning on having someone cooking at the course for lunch and Chattooga Belle Farm has a liquor license and this being a non-sanctioned event, there will be beer and wine for sale during the tournament and over lunch time. Other than the $5 per player that goes to the course (it's a private course) the remaining amount of entry fees will go directly into payout.
