I was given this flyer at the Monti this weekend. This is a nonsanctioned Southern Nationals Qualifier. I have heard good things about the course.

Southern Nationals Pro Playa Tony Bass is running this event. Tony is originally from Columbus and has stepped up to run the first Tournament at Flat Rock. I've heard great things about the course from several people and highly encourage you guys to go check it out. And if you play you'll go ahead qualify for the 2011 Southern Nationals Championships (pro championships are in Huntsville,Al.)

Might have gone to check it out except I already paid for the Pam B Childs Event sanctioned the same day.

Dawn's best friend lives in Columbus, so maybe on our next visit there I can check it out for possible 2012 usage.

If you haven't played it yet this is an excellent course. I played it three times a few months ago and I'd encourage you all to help grow disc golf in other parts of the state - this is the opportunity with Columbus open to putting in more courses if this one generates interest.

Going to be a great event! Someone will go home with a portable basket. One FREE throw for all tournament participants, additional throws for $2 or 3 for $5. Also, all Intermediate Ams, Novice, Juniors, and Ladies get a disc just for signing up. Vegas style ace pot, CTP.'s and more.....Please come and support Columbus disc golf and show the city that the sport belongs here!
