But, If possible, I would recommned an earlier start time for the day as it would be great to get home for the 4PM games. IMO a 7AM 1st round start would be awesome..But it's all good - thanks in advance for the action Jason!!

The term "Hobo" is a bit insensitive. I think the phrase "financially challenged" is a bit more accepted nowadays. The kids should be applauded to help out people who have had a bit of bad luck. I am sure the residents appreciate a warm and dry place to sleep.

Can't believe that I let Bradshaw talk me into this - can you say "Captain" for the day. This course eats me alive. Alright DD, it is your turn.

Wondering if the new access road wil be played as OB. I think it would be sweet if you made it OB for being over the silt fence on 6 and for being on the new road on 15. I vote for bringing back the old OB line on 2 as well. Just sayin'

15 and 6 i agree on but 2 with an ob line is bogus. 15 is like a completely diffrent hole if you play the path as ob.

Eventually, the trail behind 6's basket will have to be OB, once it's open to the public. According to Mark Holder, the RRPD's long-term plan is to plant Leyland cypress or some sort of screening bushes along the side of the trail nearest the basket. It's Bradshaw's call whether to make it OB for LITW. We may also eventually install an alternate pin position on 6 -- the space between the trail and the current position is pretty tight as it is, and the basket can't move any closer to the tees along the current line of play -- it'd be right up against the pair of trees.

I agree that the leveling out of the area to the left and behind the pin on 15 changes the character of the hole, and likewise am concerned about how things will play out once the path opens -- even as OB, it seems like the path is too close to the basket for safety without something to stop drives that go long and left. And I'm not sure what can be done about it -- there's not much room to work with between the path and the black tee pad for 16. Given that the path won't be open before LITW, however, my vote would be for leaving it as is for now.

I expect we'll be discussing all of this Tuesday night at the RDGC BOD meeting.

We will have CTPs by Division, by Pool, Buy-In Cash and 1 sweet package CTP for all Sponsors.

I don't know -- I just learned about it a few minutes ago when my son came back from playing a practice round with pix of it. I'll check in the morning with the RRPD, but I wouldn't expect it to move by then.

Re: OB on the new walkways, my vote is "no" for right now. I don't think they will be in play too much for the few holes they affect. Our tax dollars at work.

Until they have a defined line, I do not think that you can clal them OB - you'll have to string rope or something.

RRPD says they'll get the dumpster moved today.

According to the RRPD, the dumpster has been moved as far as possible toward Holcomb Bridge, away from the fairway, but it's still out there -- muddy conditions made it impractical to move it out completely. Look for updated info at the player's meeting on special ground rules for this.
