How many open players are signed up so far? Tell me that and then i might consider holding off until y'all reach 25, but if you have no chance of reaching 25 then i'm going to go ahead and sign up

Why do the Open players love to sign up late and then bitch when there are not enough spots "reserved" for them and their all powerful game?

Look at the pdga.com website, Keith is very quick updating the registered players list.

Keith, I'm sure the park staff is already busy making the course look great for next weekend, but do you think they could possibly look into eradicating the little pests before then?
Btw, great layout! Can't wait.

Do you have to be an ADGO member to get answers/updates?
I think it was Benjamin Franklin that said:

Give me a break! Someone just update the list or call Keith and have him update it. People are tired of waiting! The longer I wait the 'more colorful' my posts will get and the worse my attitude will be on Friday and Saturday.![]()

5 Things to take to Central Park when not participating in a tourney:
1. Air Horn
2. Dog that you can let off a leash
3. A little league basball team that can warm up on Hole#18
4. A Beer
and last but not least
5. The slowest child on a bicycle ever !

I came sooooo close last time. The Human Pi?atas were just so tempting.Vern, you forgot a Youth Tree Climbing Class on Hole # 15.....

CHECK!
Thanks for all your hardwork and continued support Jason. Although I wasn't there, it's difficult to beleive that Jason and Terry didn't have something to do with the success of the tourney. Just not possible. Refuse to beleive it. why?, because you have NO CLUE on what it takes to run an event without LOTS of help, or even how to get sponsorship stuff straight for some of your higher dollar sponsors?
IT IS POSSIBLE and you can BELIEVE IT!!!
it's really not that hard to do if you have half a brain...especially a 1 day event at 1 course.....i'll bet you you could do the same thing at lost in the woods in 2 months, since you have a parks dept helping you with the course also(remember the course DOES NOT run the event so you'll have to do SOME THINGS YOURSELF)....you have 2 months to raise the cash and pull it all together...i'll even be a hole sponsor of #6(that's 6, not 9 or no sign like the atlanta open
) for 50 bucks....
the offer is on the table.....are you going to keep whining about something you have no knowledge of, or are you gonna gather all your pals and make the event great!
the discs are in your court!
That Jason... probably a guy who doesn't need PROPS. What a guy!
Good call Mr. Disc.
Mr-Disc wrote:Thanks to Jason Dowling for all HIS HARD WORK and everything he does at this great park.
Big Fat Check.
If not for Jason Dowling I would have thrown in the towel years ago.
(short of his normal job of prepping the course for tournament play)
Mr-Disc wrote:High Eng Custom Stamp or What?
grease wrote:Huh? They were tourney stamped Flex Challengers, Champion Wraiths, and a couple other really nice discs. I don't get your point?
chuck, you got the answer from me on players packages when you asked several weeks ago.
it's not my fault you chose to ignore what i said, just like you ignored what i wrote earlier, by quoting the line that YES my god, i did say........
other than prepping the course what did YOU WANT JASON TO DO to run the event that he wasn't running.....you just make no freaking sense....
I only gave Jasons name props,
i know you like to stir up crap and i tend you usually ignore you, but when you ask the same stupid things over and over again, to me and others, it really gets irritating...sort of how you get irritated when i mention how long and what events i've run........ People on this site have always suggested to ask specific ? thats all i did, Whats wrong with that. I just wanted to be informed.
part of that is because of people in the area NOT KNOWING if i'm another chuck smith, just out for myself or if i can do what i say i can do.....
I doubt you could live up to that name. I also doubt that you can get 4 courses in the ground in under Two years by yourself.
i have shown with both events here that i will take care of ther PLAYERS(something you claim to do but only if they are ams, or it benifeirts your pockets) where i do it for the PLAYERS that play the event ALL OF THEM, AM OR PRO, women or men, old or just starting.......I just do not give a dam abought pro payout, thats what the pdga is for using am money to pay pros, my passion is getting people involved in playing disc golf
its why i donate money to the jim warner fund(not take advantage of the name(i never even met the guy and he died 4 days after i moved here)because i saw how other golfers FELT about him....it is why i continue to donate money EVERY week for the jim warner fund, when playing at wills....last year i personally donated over 500 dolars in cash and at least 100 or so in merchandise to the fund.....i bet you didn't even come close to that with your "so called fund raisers"
Your right keith i dont come close to your $500 I only helped raies $1200 in 2006![]()
I tried to raise more money for the cause this year but our pal woody had to speak out against it.
not take advantage of the name What a cheap shot.
it's not to toot my own horn.......it's to show dumbasses that even though i play like asss, that i care about the people who play this sport and want to make it better......
if you don't want to be a part of that,it doesn't bother me, if you want to make a living off disc golf that doesn't bother me either...i just choose to SPEND money on disc golf to make other people happy, and there's nothing wrong with that either........
? What do you do for a living Kieth![]()
Ill bet its not busting you but getting new courses in the ground and doing all the hard ground work that it takes to build a new course, na you only host events were someone else has done the hard work
so chuck...if you actually READ anything i have written, including from the beginning of this thread....you will conclude that ALL of your questions have been answered (as they were when you asked them last year, which you obviously forgot) and you are free to ask new ones, cuz i'm done answering your old tired questions(or the ones imran is feeding you )

richardhead wrote:He(CHUCK) supports Am's because he knows they are the future of the sport. No offense to Keith or my Pro friends but he had to beg enough Pros to play so the payout would be better. Historically the am side fills up a lot faster.

thanks for making me realize on a daily basis that this area will ALWAYS be fractured in little kingdoms, and that no matter how i wish things could be more unified, the more they will be separated, as the area is just too caught up in history that this outsider will never be a part of or able to understand.....and my arrogant attitude thinking that things could be better one day, is even by my own actions, is proof that it NEVER will be....
