Cuz Jay quit Bowling Green.
Wookie wrote:I still don't understand why someone would quit. It's not like anyone pays any attention to the ratings and especially if you drive out of town for an event. Does it feel better to quit and walk away without trying or to actually finish and complete something you started?

Future bootsieism? But that would require bootsie to "not quit" for a period of time, so that won't happen. How did this forum get taken over by quiters?Great defense Jay.

You should get a new Atari. I heard they were fun.
Funky Bobby J wrote:Is a Novice division being offered? I think that PDGA guideline 808.4(c) says that if there are 4 competitors that wish to play in the division it must be offered... WEAK!!!!
Why would you want a novice and a Rec division in the same tournament?
Seems like you would just be wasting time.

It's a big trophy, though, around 3' tall.

Left of the rope on either hole will be OB.

Two rounds each day.

Yeah I am talking to you Mashburn, Schatz and some guy from St. Augustine, FL who I don't know. You guys with your new, shiny over 900 player ratings. Step on up and play with the big boys in Advanced. Yeah you heard me! It is just $10 more. This barely over 900-rated player is calling you out!

What do you think about while you're sitting on the crapper? Why is it illegal to sucker punch little kids at Chuck E Cheese? How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if he was high on meth and had a gas powered chucking machine? If you were one of the New Kids on the Block, which one would you be? Why were there yellow jackets on the course (not the bees, but people who went to GA Tech)? What is the square root of my ass? Who let the dogs out? Who would win in a fight between a shark with a gun and a bear with chainsaw hands? What are rainbows made out of? Do you think I'm pretty? When will the results be posted?..........................

How do you know? I actually have up to thirty days to post scores, submit the td report, and pay players fees to the PDGA. And that is really not a stern thirty days either as the PDGA doesn't really enforce it.
mrpbody33 wrote:Greasy wasn't kidding about that 25 day thing.
millayday wrote:Holy crap people. It hasnt even been 5 full days since the tournament was over. How much of an impact is it really having on your lives not knowing your round ratings yet? I'm guessing that everyone bitching has run their own tournaments and had the rounds posted the next day, even though they have jobs and other obligations during the week. I now understand why TDs get pissed about others chiming in. If you can do it better or faster then you should probably run your own tournament. I'm sure the people chiming in and giving friendly reminders is helping too. Without you Grease probably would have forgotten all about posting the results. Patience is a virtue, and Grease is the man. Thats why I have his poster up on my ceiling. That way he's the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I see before I go to bed

millayday wrote:Yeah seriously. Why wasn't this tourney part of the ratings update? This was the only thing I played in since the last update and I actually had a few good rounds in there. I was hoping to jump up a few points. I know the ratings seemed a bit off, but it was still a PDGA sanctioned event. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't these tourneys pay a decent amount to the PDGA for sanctioning. What is the point of paying them any money if the round ratings are not counted? I think we need some damn money back from the PDGA. I don't think just having a banner up at the sign ins is worth whatever sanctioning fees they were paid. I call shenanigans
