Scott, I see that the hole sponsorships are $25, but how much are the premium sponsorships? (Also, have you decided to definitely use the Jim Warner artwork for the fundraiser disc? -- Will they be available separately from the premium sponsorships??) I'm pretty sure that I'll play in the tournament, but even if I am unable to make it, I'll want to sponsor at some level. (And, I know how convenient the online registration is, but I'll probably just send you a check for the whole amount -- entry + sponsorship -- once I figure out what I'll be doing.)scprandy wrote:The on-line sign up is an awesome thing , already starting to get sponsorships as well , make sure you don't miss out, get your registrations in now !!!!
scprandy wrote:Right now I'm thinking that I will have a very small amount of these disc's available only to the prem. sponsors due to the fact that Gutt is working on getting his own disc ready as a fund raiser and I dont want to flood the market prior to his release date.

Vern will be at Lenora, ERP , Central and Deerlick to sell fund raiser discs prior to dubs...... Make sure you see him and get yours before they are all gone!!

richardhead wrote:I'll jump on the band wagon. Was it added to the am side? Don't think so. Inquiring minds would like to know. Maybe it was put aside to purchase supplies for the ADGO tournament. Maybe not.
scprandy wrote: I have spoken to Paul and we realize that we only added $150 in cash to the pro payout and the PDGA requires $250 added for a B tier event.
I don't really want to get in the middle of this, but when doing the math you guys need to take into account the fact that the premium sponsors got merchandise in return (maybe you're already taking this into account .. it wasn't clear from what I've read). I don't know what that stuff costs, but it is not free. So, a $100 Premium sponsorship does not add $100 to the purse.Premium sponsors will receive: Fund Raiser t-shirt, Fund raiser Supercolor disc, Tourney disc, ...

... just my 2 cents. Carl M (who is sorry he missed the tournament)
solstice_disc_sports wrote:I didn't get a hug! I guess it wasn't a guarantee.The T-shirt cost about $7.00 the Supercolor Disc about $10.00 and the Color Max Disc about $7.00. $24.00 + shipping Probably $27.00 each in merch cost that's if the ColorMax's weren't purchased with sponsorship "D-Dollars".
keith johnson wrote:but you don't count cost instead of retail value when doing the payout, because in theory the players can NOT buy it for those prices.
Ghostinthemachine wrote:So basically the Pros get back all their entry fees plus $249 in their payout and the ams get back all their entry fees plus discs in their payout and the costs of the event are covered by sponsors and you guys are sitting back bitching because you didn't get enough, right?
What a bunch of greedy f**king bastards!

I added $20 of that to make the Int. 1-3 spots make sense(Scott did offer to make up the difference, but I added it to help him out )
1-3 Int. all got $35 until I made it $50,$40,$35.

intermediate field listen up, this crap happens at every pdga event.
The TD,s need your money to pay added cash to the pros.
or they use it to pay them self.
The real winner in all of this, is the guy that handles am pay out, he can make as much as $500 profit at each tournament.
The man also want you to believe you cant make money as a TD, Bull!!!
keep doing the math at each tournament.
Its always the same.
Our focus is on Pro payout. that’s why its called the Professional Disc Golf Association.
intermediate's Don’t get suckered.
