Perkerson Winter Action

We've applied for a $50,000 grant to complete the course and to get it, need to raise about $8,000. One of the fundraising arms will be tournaments held this winter and culminating in the icebowl, with a combined overall goal of $3,000 raised from events.

I'm thinking of a 3-part series with the final event being the Icebowl (PDGA, singles). The other two events could be singles or doubles (bring your own partner?) or a combination of the two. It will have a points component and we'll have special trophies for the winners (looking at making custom art sculptures from things found at the park).

If anyone has ideas for an interesting event format that could be combined into a series, or is interested in helping run these events, let me know. I really could use help facilitating these as I'm focused primarily on getting the installation completed.
