uh oh, new trees

i just drove by Perkerson and noticed a few dozen new trees ready to be planted. as of now, there are half a dozen already planted all over the green for hole 14. i will drive by again in a few hours to take a closer look and see what other holes may have been or will be affected.

I know they were trying to get some trees a while back but hadn't heard anything in a while .... I'm trying to get more info. #14's green seems like a really poor location to plant them.

It's actually the only flat land on the course without trees except for 11, so to the park it seems like the PERFECT place for trees, just like the placement of the picnic tables, but at least with trees they can actually HELP the course down the line offering other challenging pin locations depending on where and how they are planted, plus the water will flow naturally right to them.

so its pretty bad, hole 14 has ~8 trees in it from teepad all the way to green. there is a tree that's half blocking #16. and possibly some on 5. I was able to do some damage control and hopefully save 10 & 13 as the contractor was still putting flags for the tree positions, but they are subject to move as they haven't dug the tree holes yet. 70 trees being place.

problem fixed, mostly -- the landscaper is moving ~13 trees that are directly in the course . so only 5 and partially 14 impacted.

Can they move them up to Lenora?
