Weekly Random Draw Doubles?

Anybody interested in getting some weekly action going at McCurry? I was thinking $5 ($2 to winners with a dollar each to 2 CTPs and a dollar for an ace fund, or just 3 CTPs). Thinking Friday nights, meet at 18's basket, flip for partners at 5:50 and tee off at 6:00. Any opinions or interest?

Sunday nights would be "ok" with me, but I'd prefer Friday nights. Usually the weekend is quite crowded at McCurry with picnickers frolicking unaware in the fairways, so I thought Friday might be a little less hectic, but whatever day is cool with me. I just want to get something weekly started.

I won't be playing tonight, but I'll be there next Friday at 6pm if anyone wants to play some doubles or whatever. Should I write something up and put it on the bulletin board by #1's tee? Something like: "Weekly Random Draw Doubles on ____ nights, meet at 18's basket, flip at 5:50 and tee of at 6:00" ... would that work?

What about early Sunday morning? Say 9am? Could get in a round before the picnics start to pop up.

I like the idea of early Sunday morning. On a side note, anyone heard from Andrew lately. It'd be nice to have #2 back in it's normal position. #11 as well but not as important.

Yes...but this year it has been renamed the Iron Leaf Classic.

True ... although the long pin is fun, I agree that a consistently birdiable hole is quite nice as well.
