From the director of all Alpharetta Parks received today at 1PM:
I wanted to give you a heads up on a couple of issues and potential
problems where you can assist;
1. Effective last Monday the City has a total tobacco ban within
all parks and greenways, this includes cigarettes and chewing tobacco
2. Park staff has found an increase in the number of alcohol cans
and bottles in restrooms adjacent to the disc golf course.
Please help by asking all your contacts to be advised of these issues
and help us before this becomes a much bigger issue involving law
enforcement. Thanks again for all you do for our park and community.

PLEASE let anyone you know that doesn't check or read the message board about the info posted here, so we stay on the good side of the Parks dept.
Chris Foley and I have written replies that we have let people know at WED dubs and that we were posting it on the discussion board - as well as the fact that we have been cleaning up EVERYONES trash and bringing it to the trash cans to keep the course clean. To avoid it looking like Disc Golfers are the only culprits, if you pick trash up form the course, please distribute it in the dumpsters.
Thanks in advance for everyones assistance in spreading the word!
Keith
