hey guys,
i lost my white MayDay Madness stamped ROC way right on #14 on tuesday. i've been pounding baskets with it lately, so an ace is around the corner. so i'd really like to have it back. my name and everything is on it.

on the same note. i FOUND Cody's green Buzzz on the same hole. i'm in athens right now, but i'm in the midst of arranging it's return.

I lost a Champion Tee Bird (pink)and Star TeeRex(bright Green) on hole 11 both on the left side toward the basket. I was looking for them and after sometime was very frustrated and then i steped into a 18 inch pot hole and rolled my ankle bad and was forced to hop all the way to hole 4 to my car.

I once lost a 162g red Star Sidewinder at Wills, but that was on hole 6, up the creek, and it had my name on it. So I guess the one you have isn't mine, unless somebody else found it, didn't return it, acetoned my name off, and then lost it again. Unlikely, but if the one you've got says it's 162g, it's possible that it might be my long-lost disc. Look for remnants of writing on the under-inside of the rim, where the pads of your fingers would go in a power-grip. I like to write my name there rather than on the middle of the underside.

I lost an orange Champion Valkyrie on 14. It was an anhyzer throw, headed to the right out over the big bushes, and it never seemed to fade back. I was surprised that I didn't find it, so it may be under a pile of leaves or something. My name, email address, and phone number are on the inside of the rim, but if you find it and the sharpie has worn off, send me a PM here. By the way, Jason, did you get your Sidewinder back?

Yellow Surge FLX on 18 where the bend in the creek is just behind those trees. It was my favorite sidearm driver and has "CORN" on the back.

I actully think a group of teenagers took it, but I do not want to accuse without fact. Akwardly interesting that it came down close to the area where they were. I took my eye off it for a few seconds, never seen again!

First, I lost my favorite disc, a yellow star valkarie on the bushes to the left on hole 13. It could be anywhere near that creek between hole 12 and hole 13. My contact info is on it if anyone finds it.

Don't despair totally. I lost my TL at Wills a few weeks ago, and after a week or so passed, I got an email from a guy in his late teens/early 20's that he'd found it. He even brought it to me at my lunch break when he was on his way past the Pollo Campano to some job assignment. Nice kid too. There are good kids around, even at Wills.

I would love to narrow it down but I just not sure where i lost the darn thing. I played up in canton then wills on the way back and finally hit east roswell in the same day. You need tranmitter beacons on your discs for the amount you leave/ lose at courses. :mrgreen:

If on 3 it may be halfway down 2 or 4's fairway by now with the storms yesterday - also that is the area the boy scout camps are all over, so they may find the disc long before 5:30 when I get there. I'll check with the scout leader too, just in case.

Lost: White Star Eagle on Hole 13, threw it over the tennis courts and it disappeared high into the trees to the right of 14's teepad. I'm about 85% sure it never came down as a friend and I looked all over. It was my favorite driver and I'd love to get it back.

I think I walked away from my blue Vibram Ridge at hole 6 on Wednesday of last week. Not that there's much hope since I haven't had a call yet, but I would like to have that disc back. It was my trusty driver on several of the Wills holes.

This is a fun one. I have held in my bag for about 10 years an 8th run Roc. It is well used but has held up pretty well and still holds its shape. I just thought it was an old disc until some of the guys I've recently started playing with at Oregon Park let me know it was rare and valuable. It has two markings on it. One is "#7457 M. J." The other is "Scott Renz #15477". I actually just noticed the MJ mark that is faded on the rim, that member number apparently belongs to "Mark Jordan." I'm not sure who the original owner is but if either person would contact me I'm happy to return it. I'm posting here because I'm told Scott Renz often plays at Wills Park.

FOUND - DX Wraith

Mark McKinnon name was turned over to me at doubles by as newbie as we knew you Chappy and Wookie were on the course, but when we got back to parking lot, no one was there.

Called # on disc, but woman with screaming child in background said no one with that name was at that #.

I have it with me and can get it to you or anyone else at Wills next (or any during daylight savings time) WED.

A couple of weeks ago I left my Vibram Trak at Wills and didn't realize it until a few days later. But I got a call from a nice kid who found it while playing the second round of his life. He happened to live near me, so we met by the Target and he returned it to me. Nice kid, and he wouldn't even accept a reward. There are still good people raising good kids these days. :thumbup:

I don't mean to point fingers, but I'm fairly certain we have at least 2 younger players on the course in the habit of holding onto any plastic they come across regardless of contact info. I've played them through on a hole only to realize they were holding one of my groups' discs left in the basket on the previous hole minutes before. They made no effort to inquire about it and we had to chase them halfway to 17 before they (grudgingly) gave it back.

I know there are others who have had plastic go missing while still on the course. I even asked one about a disc one of them threw (suspecting it to be a disc reported "lost" by a group member the day before -sweet looking white leopard).
Me: "hey nice throw, what was that?"
High School kid: "umm....er, Inn....Innova, I think. Yeah, Innova."
His Buddy: "maybe a...uh, leopard?"

I guess just keep an eye out for the pair of high school kids with a stack of sweet discs they know nothing about....

The deepest part of the creeks anywhere at Wills is at most only 2 feet deep, so it couldn't be too hard to find if you give me a better clue.

behind hole 11 side of 14 is a little deeper than 2 ft now that some sticks are building up and making a lil dam. i went in and it was well above my knee.
Moving on i seem to have left a putter somewhere on the 14 - 18 here. im sure someone picked it up and i'll never see it again but i'll try as always and post it.

I'm guessing it's probably not 5, 6, or 7, almost certainly not 16 or 17, and judging from the disc he was throwing, I seriously doubt it was 1, 11, or 13. That eliminates almost half the course. My money is on 9, 14, or 18. :mrgreen:

I'm new to the area and course, so if I remember correctly it was hole #16. Drove past the basket at dusk on Thursday, past some pedi's, and could't find it. Maybe one of them took it out of spite :wink:

It's an orange Buzz, slightly worn, with my first name on it. I'd love to not have to replace it.

Any information leading to the return of said disc will be met with much appreciation and instant Karma.

I've repaired the Lost Disc Box and it's now in the hands of the Park folks, who will be painting it and re-installing it at the kiosk. I still have the lost disc inventory that was in the box before it broke. Once things are back in place I'll resume posting any discs that are dropped in the box. Thanks for your patience while we wait for the return of the box.

FYI: As it turns out, the box was either kicked lightly (no dents or scratches where it broke), or it just cracked along the crown of the front board (that was installed vertically and had a severe crown) under stress. Not too many folks can kick in a treated 2x10 board with a tennis shoe. Bottom line is that I don't suspect vandalism (a nice change). Now if we could just get those pesky, leaning trees to stop falling all over the woods holes!

I lost a DX Cheetah on hole 2 about a week or two ago. Eggshell colored with a sparkly gold foil stamp.

LOST: ADGO Club Tag #120 VERMINATOR on Tag - Possibly on 10 - I got stung (final count 10 times) by bees short right of the basket on 10 and threw my bag running from the bees. Could be anywhere before that though.

Lost: Vibram Ridge, medium rubber. It is a reddish-orangeish-yellowish "granite" color, and there is a small spot of purple on the underside of the flight plate. I lost it on Sunday on Hole 11 at Wills Park, by the fallen tree just behind the balance-beam bridge across the fairway. Since I couldn't find it myself, I'm guessing it sank to the bottom of the muddy pool of water at the base of the fallen tree. This is, of course, to the right of the fairway at the bottom of the muddy creek bed. If you find it (probably have to wait until the sun dries out that huge, deep puddle), my name and phone number are on it, but you can also drop it in the disc drop box at the bathroom near the tennis courts and hole #1.

This is not a unique disc for anyone else, and I could replace it if it's not found, but I got my first ace with this disc on hole 16 at Wills during a casual solo round, so it kinda has a special place in my heart and I would like to get it back.

reward hmmmm i didnt get a reward. on a serious note a thank u is all i want. why should we have to bribe people to get or stuff back that is part of the sport and why we all put our name and number on our discs. if u dont want it back then dont pout your number on it.

reward hmmmm i didnt get a reward. on a serious note a thank u is all i want. why should we have to bribe people to get or stuff back that is part of the sport and why we all put our name and number on our discs. if u dont want it back then dont pout your number on it.

i just realize that i left my 11x tee bird yellow half way up the fairway on the left side in the water on hole 18 during the playoff i know that knowone else has been on the course cause it was dark. someone please grab it for me before it disapears :roll:

FOUND: 3 Discs - 150 Dx Leopard with name Kovac in basket 18, DX Stingray with name Matt Halprin at # 17 pavilion, Brand NEW Z Buzzz with no name or markings on Hole 11 - just sticker from place of purchase on disc.

Called on both disc with numbers on them.
150 Leopard - number no longer belongs to golfer.
Stingray - left message

I should have three discs in the found disc box or on their way to it. A pink Z Stalker should already have been there about two weeks ago, with my name and number on it. And then I got two calls today, one for a blue Star Valkyrie and one for a white DX Roc, both with my name and number on them. Chris or whoever has been checking the found disc box at Wills, please give me a call on my cell phone and let me know what I need to do to get back these three discs.

Also, thanks to all y'all around Wills who are returning my discs! You make playing disc golf even more enjoyable than it already was.

... and the folks at some of the other local courses could definitely take a lesson from the Wills dogs on the etiquette of returning discs. At other places, I've literally seen kids racing each other to see who could steal my just thrown disc in plain sight in the fairway, and I had to yell at them before they snatched it up. :problem:

Here's the entire contents of the lost disc box as of October 22. If you see your disc(s) or a buddy's, please PM me on this board with your phone number to claim your disc(s).

A vehicle key and a set of earbuds that were in the box were turned over to the Rec Center Lost and Found (at the front desk).

Recently lost a pink champ beast on hole 11 name and number on the back as well as pdga number. Would love for someone to find it and contact me. Its got a black messed up mandala drawing on the front. Thanks!!!
