Cherokee County Ability Games - Year number 3!

Calling all Disc Golfers: if you would like to help with this event, we have been invited back again to help out!!!!!

We will be working with Dave Martinez, of CAPE. He is the State Coordinator for Georgia Adapted Physical Education and is the National Standards Certified Adapted Physical Educator Special Olympics Co-coordinator for the Cherokee County School District. Our goal is to introduce the sport and teach the kids how they too can play disc golf!!!

If anyone is interested in helping out on this most excellent opportunity for Cherokee County Disc Golf, please contact me ASAP. Estimated number of kids will be 10-15 and it’s only 2 hours of your time to make a difference with the kids, their family, and disc golf in the county.

This intramural program will take place at Teasley Middle School during the following dates and times:

Saturday, April 24th – Teasley Middle School - 10:00am–11:30
Saturday, May 8th – Teasley Middle School - 10:00am–11:30

Charlotte NT and GSSS #3 - maybe on day it won't be scheduled during a GSSS Event and I can help out seeing I live in the county.

I'll be raising funds for the Special Olympics with the food sales at McCurry.

Great job as always with getting Disc Golf out there and into the Games every year!
