Using money raised from our annual fundraiser, The Alexander Aerial Armada, the GDGO will be planting some trees at Lenora this Friday, and installing a raised basket on Hole #7. The trees will define and tighten the fairways of 9/10 and act as guardians for 9 and 10's baskets. Gwinnett County will be assisting us, and we would appreciate any disc golfers who would like to come out and help with either/both projects. Work begins at 9 am.
I'd like to give a shout out to Steve Adams for his original design; Ryan Harris for his professional rendition, aid in securing the trees and overseeing installation; and Mikey Curtis for designing and building the raised basket. And the biggest shout out of all to the supporting members of the GDGO! There are many of you who aren't voting members yet (you can sign up on the ADGO main page), but I consider all who play in Gwinnett and support our cause to be members in spirit. Thank you all, and we hope you enjoy the new additions to Lenora.
