Alternate Pin Placements

The GDGO, in conjunction with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation, is excited to announce 5 new pin locations at Lenora Park. We hope you find these changes to be subtle, yet more challenging. They will be put into play for the first time at the Lenora League on Thursday, June 24, and will be alternately moved every 2 - 3 weeks. We appreciate being able to enhance Gwinnett County's first Disc Golf course, and give special thanks to County employees Daniel and Jeb who assisted Mikey, Ed, and I with installation.

Are the distances to each new pin position known?

They are and will be added to the tee signs soon. Sorry I don't have them with me here at work, but Greg posted a description in the Alexander Saturday Morning Doubles thread.

anyways... I copied and posted it for you... This Saturday the 26th JR will run dubs at Lenora. Cool thing is we have 5 new pin positions that will be ready to be played. Here are the hole descriptions

#3 - to the left of the current position about 50' under the pecan tree
to the extreme left.

#10 - about 90' longer and just about 15' to the right. Just on the
edge of the slight rise. We think we can also use this position as an
alt to #12.

#13 - straight out from the teepad about 330'. It's directly behind the
three/four trees in front of you when you're on the teepad.

#15 - way to the right of the current teepad about 15' from the
treeline. THer is a natural semi-circular cutout and the pin position
is in the middle of this.

#16 - to the left of the current position and farther out ~275'. It's
directly behind the three/four tree group to the left of the two trees
we currently have to throw around

Thanks for the new pin placements! I play Lenora all the time and it was a nice change.
