i guess so? folks wont play redan when there aint nothin going on so i'm not going to even try to compete with the alex action. odds were i'd be left out there playing with myself anyways and as much as i love Rosie Palm, her 5 sisters and Redan, I think I'll fight the traffic in hopes of finding some (actual) action

well i'm still into the idea but i think tuesdays are out of the question. i have a difficult time seeing many if any playing redan if there are 10+ people at alex. so i guess i'd like a little input old wise ones (thats you woody, josh and barry for starters).
i was thinking that thursdays would make the most sense? ERP is far for some of the redan players especially with the traffic plus it will give folks a break from the dubs if they choose.
so lets hear it. anyone interested in singles at redan?

Redan = Tuesday Dubs (could always make it cheaper for entry)

If there aren't many players (less than 6), Singles will ensue

Thursday Singles at Redan would be nice too... That'd be two days of action at Redan per week.

Let the Alexander guys play at thier course.... they don't want a challenge like Redan. They want easy birdies.

Redan is fifteen minutes from Alexander... so the drive reason is pointless

ive heard its more like 40 minutes from redan to alex. and i talked to a few guys on sunday and they said that no ones been showing on tuesdays since woody split and even then the attendance was poor.
i guess i'll keep playing redan by myself except for today cause i'm kind of stoked to see what kind of turn out alex singles will draw. if they get half of the players of a regular saturday it will be pretty damn sweet

I will say that Singles at the Alex yesterday was pretty decent.
Not sure what the total turn out was... there were 5 of us "Amateur" players, we had our own CTPs to compete for and vouchers for Disc Stalker as payouts
I think there were 7 or 8 Pro players...And there were a few Alex regulars out there kind of checking the scene but didn't play.

Cody and Nate did a great job, and I expect the turnout to pick up as the weeks go along.

Sad thing about Redan is it's not the Course that turns people off...it's the location...Put that same course out in L'ville and it'd be rockin'

It's good to have a place to play golf & not deal with 75 other golfers throwing discs in every direction. People playing in on you or not letting a group of 2 players play through a group of 7.

Park at the front of the parking lot, visible to the rec. center & road and you can leave your car in peace. Yeah, I couldn't stay away from my home course. They even mowed the grass!
